Came here at 2.15 on a Tuesday afternoon so I'm not surprised it wasn't too busy. The restaurant looked rather dark on bright sunny day so we ate in the bar. The food was lovely. Well presented and friendly polite staff. If I'm being picky, I would say the steak I had was over salted, but beautifully soft despite being cooked rare, which is what I asked for. In my opinion it was reasonably priced for what we had. I have already recommended to family and friends and would definitely return.
Just had a lovely meal tonight to celebrate a birthday. There were 12 of us and the staff were fantastic. Service was quick and they helped us with our cake. I got confused trying to do my blue light discount and they sorted it for me. The food was fabulous. Had a wonderful time, thank you for making it so special. It was lovely how we were in a separate room with another large group so we felt special! Xx
We did not stay but had a lovely early meal to catch up with family. The rainbow salad was delicious and a thumbs up for the rib eye steak. Best nachos ever as a shared starter. Not your usual corn chips but bigger and better. Wondering if they are made on the premises. Even better was the charming service of our server Iona who engaged with us from the start. She was efficient, polite and helpful.

We didn’t stay here but we did come for meals multiple times over the weekend, we came for breakfast on Friday and had a cooked breakfast which included continental and drinks which was great, great selection of hot and cold options. We then came for a meal on the Saturday, there was a bit of a wait but we were informed when we arrived so not a problem, food was all cooked perfectly we all enjoyed and had empty plates staff were really friendly, I also left my handbag at the table and they looked after it for me until I could collect, staff were all really nice about it. Today we went for the Sunday roast and I couldn’t recommend it enough, drinks came quickly, meat was perfect, roast potatoes crispy, there was nothing on the plate I could fault, our server was Oliver and he was great really friendly and quick to take our order and get our drinks, if we had cash we would’ve tipped him! Would recommend to anybody especially on a Sunday and thinking about staying here next time we come to Warrington!
The location was handy for visiting mates in Warrington and easy to get to ... and park.
Food was better than good but batter on my fish needed better draining. The other three meals were really good... The service between courses was good for us but for other launchers may have been a bit protracted. Overall good value and pleasant staff.
My wide, 2 friends and I ate there last night as we had heard it was good.

Daughter was starting university in chester so we stopped at this hotel overnight as a gapstop. The food was amazing... the breakfast more so.
The hotel staff were extremely happy and helpful however the rooms desired a little help. The bathroom was very basic and not very clean with mould round the edge of the bath...
Just arrived for breakfast here after staying the night at the hotel. I had to leave to get a train at 7.20 (breakfast started from 7) so understood that I wouldn't have time for a hot breakfast. The server very kindly offered to wrap up a veggie ciabatta to go which was more than kind. She told the kitchen to be as quick as they could and I just enjoyed the ciabatta on the train, it was delicious. Thank you for going above and beyond!
Booked well in advance for my husband's 50th birthday as a little extra surprise with his friends, as they have a nice little private room. Hayley was great sorting the booking out and Vicki was so helpful on the phone regarding me going in to set up and leave the cake, etc.
All the staff were very helpful and for approximately 20 people all paying separately, the food order was taken in one go and the food came out at the same time. The only gripe was that a few people really fancied the Tomahawk steak, and there were none left, but other than that, it was all great, service brilliant, food lovely and staff couldn't do enough. The lady with the blonde hair (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) kept checking on us throughout, and made the separate payment process really easy for everyone. She was so efficient. My husband had a lovely time, as we all did.
We come here for breakfast/lunch often, and are always really happy with the food and service.

Food was amazing, maybe the nicest steak I've ever had. The service was pretty good, but it was a very busy day, so I think they're usually pretty top notch.
We had our daughters christening party in the function suite and the room was stunning.

Nothing too much trouble, so helpful and the overall experience they gave throughout was amazing.
The buffet was outstanding, plentiful and delicious.
Everyone commented what a beautiful venue it was and it really was - just perfect for our little princess.
We would use this venue again for another celebration.
We had a 40th Birthday party here, 36 people attended and the whole evening was superb. Vicky was great and made sure everything went to plan, food was lovely and everybody had a great time !
Visited here for a meal only. Very comprehensive menu, excellently prepared. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
First visit. Great pub. Lovely, helpful staff. Amazing outdoor drinking areas. Definitely going to visit this place again when in the area. Its 10 stars from me.
We came for our Dinner this evening and the steaks were absolutely stunning , for afters we has the cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding top notch

It was just great. For starters we had: chicken wings, prawns and squid. All cooked to perfection. Seasoning was delicious.
For main we all had steak. All dishes came as we asked, well done & medium rare. The waitress actually knew which one was well and which one was medium. I just don’t appreciate going to pubs and people mix the orders.
The staff was absolutely great. Always present, making sure we were fine.
My family enjoyed every minute.
Best top 3 on my list.
