We came to visit a friend and called here not knowing the area. The pub has character and is very clean. Standard pub fare drinks and a lovely, fresh ingredient, Sunday lunch.
Fair price for lovely food. Really good staff who make good hospitality look easy.

Very warm welcome from the host and the food was amazing! I had a lamb Henry which fell off the bone. Great value too & the cask ale was really good. Highly recommended & 5*****

Food good. Full marks for a proper pie, not a bowl of stew with a piece of pastry on top! Steak filling very tender and in a rich, thick gravy.
Peas rock hard though so lost a star for that.
Sunday lunch was loverly, manager and staff very accommodating, food was fabulously hot.
Lovely pub food great price and a nice setting, would go back if I lived close enough.
Great pub, really friendly service, great staff and lovely food, can’t fault it. Also they are super dog friendly, they even offered us doggy ice cream if we wanted for our 2 furries. Good local pub and fayre.. definitely recommend.
