Actually ordered food as a takeaway. A shame because a family member was a bit poorly, its a lovely pub inside. Eleanor and the chef prepared the food as ordered and in timely fashion. A good experience bringing it home carefully packaged and so, I would happily return to this nice local country pub that's also dog friendly, and with a nice beer garden
Lovely pub, kind friendly staff, footy on TV and a dart board, what more do you need! I didn't eat, but it looked and smelled delicious.

Had a lovely Sunday meal with the fam, sure it took a while but we were told this in advance . One particular table was giving the young waiter (I think he was called Sam - Tall , lovely young man, a hard time over the quality of food. Like it was his fault , felt sorry as I have a lad similar age , don’t these people have any class or empathy .
Anyway, great pub , very reasonably priced and lovely staff. Keep it up !
We had a mulled cider and a hot chocolate along with the Steak nd Ale pie and the Chicken and Mushroom Pie and everything was delicious. The service was impeccable, spot on and very attentive. *Meant to take pictures of the food but it smelled so good we tucked in immediately*

This was the start and end of our 7 mile Sunday Meander and both the food and the beer were very welcome. Pleasant helpful staff, good service and a nice environment. Will visit again if we're in the area.
We were a group of 4, with 4 different meals all were fine, nothing fancy, just pub grub hot and tasty. Can recommend.
