Actually ordered food as a takeaway. A shame because a family member was a bit poorly, its a lovely pub inside. Eleanor and the chef prepared the food as ordered and in timely fashion. A good experience bringing it home carefully packaged and so, I would happily return to this nice local country pu

We had a mulled cider and a hot chocolate along with the Steak nd Ale pie and the Chicken and Mushroom Pie and everything was delicious. The service was impeccable, spot on and very attentive. *Meant to take pictures of the food but it smelled so good we tucked in immediately*

This was the start and end of our 7 mile Sunday Meander and both the food and the beer were very welcome. Pleasant helpful staff, good service and a nice environment. Will visit again if we're in the area.
