Booked a table for 5 for 18.00 on Saturday. Was pleased to see the rowdy bar area separated from the food area, via a double door. The beer garden area also looked lovely, and would love to come back and sit outside on a warmer day. Was serviced by wonderful member of staff called Linzi, and was told from the get go there would be a delay to our food as a massive just eat order had came in. She sorted us with 2 separate bills for our table as we were paying separate, and 2 rounds of drinks, making sure we had plenty of ice and some lemon slices for the delay. She made us smile with great, conversation and customer service skills. When the food did come, it was defiantly worth the wait as it was delicious, and we all cleared our plates. We will be ordering takeaway from just eat in the future, knowing how amazing the food is.

Beef patty was delicious and paired beautifully with bacon jam.
Tasty pulled pork too all in a nice bun.
Really generous amount of brisket but it was very fatty and chewy unfortunately.
Chips were crisp and fluffy with a good helping of red salt coating.
The barman was a gem.
Had me worried I wouldn't get my food because they had functions on but he sorted it for me.
Pat said the best chips she’s ever had at her age and she’s 82! The food was tasty, the staff were friendly and we liked the window between the sports bar and the restaurant. We will recommend to friends. The garlic bread was slightly under cooked though.
Great pub, with great service (from Ollie and the team) and food. Family of 3 went for a quick drink and a bite to eat on a Friday evening....will definitely be going again.
Lovely meal, nice menu, need some more bar staff on. We booked for 10 a wake was being held and beer garden busy. Young lady coped well serving but did feel she could do with more help. Will be back.
Good food, we had one fish n chips and one chicken, generous portions size so we couldn't fit in desert but will definitely be back to sample them! Friendly service from Mario

2 of us visited for a quick business lunch at 2.30 pm. The food was good, and the service was friendly and efficient. The pub was quiet, but that was more to do with the mid afternoon lull, which most pubs get.
Went last night for my birthday with my husband and 2 kids, was told on arrival that there would be a wait for food, but wasn't too long of a wait it was just the right length. The staff were very friendly and food was lovely not been for a while but would definitely go again.
