Anyone thinking of holding a small wedding reception, this place is ideal Shelly managed our gathering of some 40 people, all of whom commented on how good the food and service was, and the lemon cake was to die for, once again a big thank you, and we will be calling in soon to sample some more of your menu, and share some of our wedding pictures with Shelley.

Stumbled on this lovely independent restaurant/tea shop in the middle of town. Highly recommended. Wouldn't have known it was there. Glad we found it and will be going back sometime soon.

Me and my partner come here every weekend in the last 3 weeks. The breakfast is amazing, its not like a normal greasy cafe. Its proper sausage, poached eggs beans brown toast etc. Always cooked to perfection.
The staff are all so lovely and are all very welcoming. I would 100% recommend shellys
Had my first experience at Shellys yesterday for breakfast. What a lovely little restaurant. The staff are very friendly and my bacon sandwich was scrummy! It was a bit more expensive than I was expecting but well worth it. I will definitely be returning.
I absolutely loved Shelley's restaurant!! The staff were outstanding and the service perfect. Shelley came out after the breakfast menu had finished and said hi to all the customers. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I feel bad to give only four stars but I am an eggs Benedict lover and my poached eggs had hard yolks. It was still gorgeous.
We asked in the Museum where was recommenced to eat nearby .... the lady suggested several but politely said she went to Shelleys and it was good. Interesting menu, reasonably priced, food tasty and well presented and delightful service. Certainly not disappointed! Was a real treat. Thank you!
Shelly's offer a variety of beautiful outstanding home cooked food. It's a place to catch up with friends and have a coffee with a personal touch of care. I have quite a few favorites, the triple cooked chips, banana and ice cream sundae and the fish and chips is the best you'll find. Ps. You always seem to get one lonesome person that gives an outstanding establishment 1 star, it's a good job no one cares. Thank you for your outstanding service and 100% input on giving your customers a brilliant experience.

I went to Shelley's a few weeks ago with my 12 year old daughter. She was having a bad day as her friend let her down so a little upset. I suggested we go here again and Shelley really made her day. She made her a Gluten Free breakfast and a hug and also £5 of her own money to go to Claire's to cheer her up. My daughter said she had never felt so special in a restaurant before. So s massive thank you Shelley and we will see you soon.
We are usually here for breakfast on a Saturday morning; I wouldn't go anywhere else. The ladies are always cheerful and the food is fabulous. If you haven't tried this place you really need to - it's a hidden gem.
I’ve just returned from visiting Shelleys. I had bacon on toast and an Americano. The food was lovely as was the coffee, the staff were all very friendly and polite and the Restaurant itself is very well kept inside and looks great. I’m definitely going to go again.

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to breakfast in Warrington town center, and Shellys came highly recommended by both trip advisor, and by Google review.
The excellent reviews are richly deserved!
If like us, you are looking for quality ingredients, and the kind of service and ambience that you simply do not get at pub chains or fast food places, then look no further than Shellys.
A proper cup of tea from a tea for two teapot, (Lovely crockery by the way) warmed us up whilst awaiting our full english breakfast with anticipation.
After a wait of seemingly no time at all, our charming hostess brought our wonderfully cooked, piping hot and absolutely delicious breakfasts, explaining the origin of the produce that is locally sourced (and cured in the case of the bacon)
To summarise, Shellys is simply the best breakfast in Warrington, and there is no doubt we will be returning customers whenever we are in the town center.
The quirky ambience is a delight, the location is perfect for either town center shopping, or for lunch before your visit to the theater, or event, at Pyramid and Parr hall, conveniently bordering the cultural quarter.
Next visit will be for Lunch, and I have little doubt that I will be needing to pen a 5 star review for that visit also.
Arranged my daughter's Baby Shower last weekend. 21 ladies for afternoon tea. Shelley and her staff provided brilliant service. Sandwiches and cakes were delicious and best scones ever. Had a wonderful afternoon thanks to Shelley.
Today my daughter aranged a baking birthday party for her son who is 6. Shelley did an amazing job keeping 8 5 and 6 year olds entertained all morning by baking cakes, making sandwiches and playing games. Shelley again was brilliant and the kids had a great time. Couldn't praise Shelley enough.
