Warringtons best curry. By a curry mile.
Mr & Mrs Atkinson. The Restaurant is absolutely amazing the decor is class and the food awesome. The staff were very attentive and friendly and smiled ( which makes a change).Suprisingly it was very resonably priced. You should try this place its a gem, a restaurant you would expect to find in a top City Centre location.
I think the cottage is a great restaurant and I enjoy my meals there also it is my favourite restaurant. The waiters and waitresses are extremely helpful and are nice people, I think these things are very important
Visited yesterday, 17/4/23, after winning a free 3 course meal for 4 people for leaving a review on TripAdvisor.
The food was excellent š staff were really friendly with great service. It is a beautiful restaurant well worth a visit š
First time at the cottage.... didn't disappoint!!
Place looked stunning... staff were really friendly ... food was absolutely gorgeous!! Highly recommend 5/5
We visited today 28/05/23 for the Sunday buffet. I never leave reviews, but the service and food was that great I simply had to. The variety of food was great, it was all fresh and piping hot. The staff are all laidback and donāt pester you at all. We got talking to the owner and after finding out weād travelled from Liverpool he gave us a Ā£10 voucher off our next visit, lovely family business thatās been going for 20+ years. Weāll definitely be returning soon.
Food was great and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
My only request would be to have poppadoms with the all you can eat buffet. No Indian meal is complete without them!
Love the decor. Renovated old cottage. You'd love the couches.
Very lay back staff. Serving you with a smile and a laughter.
Food is delicious. Well recommended
It was very quiet on the night we dined there . Service was good, food excellent and staff were able to recommend dishes we might life based on info we gave. I really like the food here and will be back again.
Birthday party at buffet great value if booked and good choice of food. Poppadoms were extra but not necessary as plenty on offer.
Brilliant food service but I didnāt really like the music in the background perfect restaurant top notch
Best onion bhajis every time. We went for the Sunday buffet but have had takeaway before where the paneer pakora is the ultimate side order. 5stars, would give 10 if I could :)
Excellent Service, great food, superb atmosphere. Excellent food, fabulous staff and superb atmosphere. A very busy Saturday night and a venture away from the normal local scene as we ventured a little further afield to Warrington.
Set in a splendid Tudor building this is a lovely Indian restaurant with character and vibe. The food didn't disappoint.
A fairly extensive menu was whittled down to starters of King Prawn Puri (always get the puri separate) succulent de shelled king prawns diced in a light, spicy sauce worthy starter although puri was slightly cold. Accompanied by the obligatory lamb chops fabulous and thumbs up around. But best of all was the Seabass, we were slightly reluctant to try but persuaded and this was phenomenal, slightly spiced the flakes of Seabass were heavenly a must try and will no doubt be a firm family favourite.
For the mains we were recommended by our amiable server Shafi the Lamb Naga, did come with a warning that it's a hot one but if you like it with kickers spot on tender lamb cooked with a blend of north Indian spices and naga chillies can't beat it with a garlic and chilli naan. Add a side of Dall, could eat this again. I'm not a fan of peshwari naan but my daughter is and that went down a year with the very delectable Moghal Lamb, melt of the bone, lamb shanks oven baked with medium spiced, onions and tomato creamed sauce served with baby potatoes. Oh we were fighting over this one. Medium strength dish served with massalla potatoes.
Finally I'd recommend a portion of hot gulam jaman and ice cream to finish off what was an excellent evening.
I'd go back and those who haven't tried it, worth a visit.
Food is amazingā¦āŗļøThank uou for great customer service!
Really lovely place. Welcoming and nicely decorated. Staff amazing, food yummy, parking on Sainsbury's car park. Will deffo return.
We went for the Sunday buffet and enjoyed it thoroughly.
You can tell the chefs here are very experienced, the food is very flavoursome and definitely not bland.
Love the sheek kebab, chicken tikka and the samosas as the starters, and for the mains I had the chilli garlic chicken, saag paneer and lamb afghani.
Staff are brilliant and the restaurant itself is very well decorated.
Will definitely return!
We went on Sunday to eat off the main menu and we did so. However it's normally a buffet, not busy, cash only too. Service was just about ok but I guess after a busy Saturday the waiters are sleepy maybe.
