Went to the Genoa Bistro Night last night with family. It was a lovely evening, the staff made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We all had a three course meal and the food was exceptional. When we went to pay we were all given a box of chocolates. We would go again.
Went for tea this evening and of course dessert and it was beautiful! Somewhere we never think to go and sit in �
Love the Genoa for a number of reasons but this year they excelled even my expectations by supplying us with what was easily the nicest Christmas dessert we’ve ever had..........the Genoa Yuletide Log ��� never thought I’d utter these words ever but right now I can’t wait until next Christmas ��
I always loved the ice-cream at The Genoa Cafe and a nice walk down warrenpoint harbour which you cant beat its a 5 star for me.
A surprise for me on Friday night at my 30th birthday party and that was Genoa ice cream!! Couldn’t beat it. Thanks ��

Went here in Friday have been on differant times, and food always good. But hubby got chicken fillet burger and which he thiught was skinny fries, but they they were chips done in skins. Hus burger was very hard. Oil must have been to hot. He didn't tell me, until we were on our way out. I would have complained, but he wouldn't day to me. I got fish supper n it was very tasty. Prbly should have complained. But i said he didn't tell me until we were out
This is a lovely little cafe just off the nail Street. We'll worth a visit nice and clean staff all very helpful. Fish and chips are lovely and do try the hot Irish apple pie and geleto.
Fantastic fabulous selection of ice cream milky drinks milk shakes wonderful quality products lovely atmosphere clean and very tidy. I honestly would recommend this place class

The Fish and Chips are fantastic!
Stopped here while looking for some fish and chips to take out. Well set up during COVID: a very genial staff member greeted us at the front door and enquired whether we wanted to carry out food, buy from the ice cream bar or sit in. After stating that we were after carry out food, she ensured I was wearing a mask and directed me to one of the ordering hatches inside. Another efficient staff member then took my order. Effective plexiglass screen at the ordering area that was easy to communicate through. We then waited outside while our order appeared to be cooked fresh.
Plenty of complimentary condiments, cutlery and napkins offered and a robust bag to carry it out. Ate it at the harbour, which is very beautiful and only a 2 minute walk.
Quality of the fish and chips were above average. Not too greasy or fatty. Batter was just right and fish seemed to be of high quality. Chips were great.
Not too expensive; I've definitely paid more for inferior fish suppers.
Recommended if you're in Warrenpoint!
For 25+ years they have been top of my list for chips and vanilla ice-cream...quite simply nothing on this planet compares!!
Love the food and service here. Warm welcoming staff, nice clean set up. Ice cream bar to the front. Also take out with ding along side and back. Following covid rules very well. Food was delicious as always- bueno milk shake highly recommend!

Really friendly helpful staff despite the place being jam packed busy. Food was delicious and great portions.
Top quality place in Warrenpoint to get real Italian ice cream or really outstanding fish and chips. This place has got service off to an art. You'll pay a bit more for the quality, but I got enough cod and chips to feed two people. There's plenty of seating in the diamond and it's the perfect way to finish a day touring around the Mournes.
Fish and chip takeaway and restaurant with ice-cream parlour too. Food was reasonable with good portions. Really nice, juicy burger with all the trimmings well worth ordering. Service functional. Regret not ordering the fish and chip dinner so will have to go back
Lovely staff good food but toilet floor wet,mum is disabled but we used it anyway as public toilets disgusting,lovely girl served us beautiful inside friendly
