I’ve had a lot of afternoon teas mostly good…but the one on offer at the Codford Tea Rooms was EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD!!!🍰🫖. Unusually I went for a cheese scone and it was fantastic with cream cheese and a chilli jam. Home made as were the cakes. Really friendly staff and although from outside it doesn’t
Beautiful day, lovely home cooked food which was delicious, well priced and good size portions. Staff polite friendly and courteous. Can't wait until the other outside garden is finished.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at the Codford Tea Rooms today. All very nicely cooked, fresh vegetables even a gluten free Yorkshire pudding for my husband 😊. We chose a really good day to go as there was live music played from 2.30 which was excellent. I understand that there is live music once a
We had pre booked a table for 6. Service was lovely. Food better 🙂. We had a variety of lunchtime items and all were enjoyed. The rarebit caused some food envy!
Stopped here on our journey back from bath. Ordered a salad and it was the nicest thing I have eaten in months! Highly recommend!
Quite and generous tea rooms with lovely cakes 🧁 The Codford tea rooms is located in the old George Pub just off the main road through the village. There is good parking outside and along the road. On arriving we were welcomed in by the staff, with a good selection of teas and cake we quickly plac
Just one minute from the A36, this was great find, a charming and relaxing place to stop in for lunch. Friendly service and good quality food in lovely surroundings. I would certainly visit again if I'm passing in the future, and I'd recommend the Codford Tea Rooms.
We found this place on our way back to Basingstoke from cheddar, great food, and dogs are allowed in!
Very quite when we dined, nice man serving and taking orders. Polite and very friendly. Only gripe was toilet are needs a smarten up. A sparkling toilet for me shows attention to premises.
Had a lovely English Breakfast and pot of tea today, food was all fresh and hot! Great service, would highly recommend, we will be back again soon to taste the homemade cakes!!
Lovely atmosphere, fresh products. Freshly made sandwiches, cakes home made and scones fresh, warm and large. Afternoon tea we'll have again.
Lovely little tea room on Codford High Street. We popped in for some lunch and enjoyed some excellent toasties and wonderful homemade cakes. Staff were very friendly and were happy to accommodate our request for a jam sandwich for our toddler. Would definitely recommend a visit
Lovely tearoom with an authentic atmosphere, definitely recommend visiting. Traditional food reflecting the local area. Polite and professional staff and high quality loose leaf teas, which are very hard to find in restaurants these days!
Came across this little gem, just off the A303, during a road trip. We both had Welsh Rarebit with salad. Believe me it's not just cheese on toast. Will definitely be using again.
Came across the tea rooms comlletely by chance for a cuppa and a snack. So friendly and really helpful staff. Will stop by again in the near future.
A great find just off the A36. Good food made to order with fresh ingredients. The staff were very helpful.
We had a lovely family party lunch on Saturday. Room was beautifully set out for us and birthday decorated. Food was good and gluten free provision was well appreciated. The journey was so wet to get there but the welcome more than compensated for the weather! Thank you all.
Lovely food, excellent service and our well behaved dog was also made very welcome. We'll be back.
