Everything would of been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the Creme brullé desert which unfortunetly wasn’t done with a blowtorch. The first one brought out the sugar was not caramelised enough giving just sugar rather than that caramel crunchy layer. I sent this back and another was brought out where the sugar was perfectly caramelised but the whole desert was hot and had become like a warm yoghurt. Almost like it had been put in an oven rather than a blowtorch. The third attempt was better but in general I was very disappointed with the desert because the main and starter was PHENOMENAL!!! Big portion size! So much flavour and the food is cooked with love.

The food was tasty. Nicely done. We all had sunday roast with beef. Some of the guests thought the beef was a bit red for their liking and asked for it to be cooked a bit more.

Prawn & Scallop only one scallop, sliced up. Prawns were good. Still a little sand present so the scallops must have been fresh! Slow roasted tomato arancini was tasty and perfect texture. No rdetectable tomato though! Pork belly. Nice flavour. Just a tad chewy. Only 1 slice of apple, veg were delicious however! Roasties were a little greasy & not aut all crispy with a fluffy centre. Meat trio.  Beef tough & over done. Pork & turkey excellent. Cauliflower Cheese. Nicely al dente but needed a stronger Cheddar. Service was a bit slow but very friendly and they were extremely busy & noisy.

Delicious Mothers day lunch, too much wine in the Lasagne but everything else was cleared; especially the arancini starter, prawn cocktail, the seabass and cod and chips. Lauren was an excellent server and the restaurant had a lovely inviting feel. All the desserts were amazing, especially this chocolate garden with edible flowerpot

Great pub/restaurant. Always busy with a great feel. Managed to squeeze 1 man and his dog in for a Sunday roast. Fantastic food, good portion size. Fast, friendly delivery of food. One small gripe, the roast potatoes could have been sought more crispy... But that really is nit-picking. Definitely a great place and being dog friendly is a bonus... For most!

Met with friends, lasagne was delicious! Compliments to the chef! Pizza was replaced as has a problem but immediately resolved. Puddings were great too. New guy being trained for table service - did a great job. Sorry can’t remember his name.

Lovely waitress Z took really good care of us even making sure chairs were comfortable for elderly members of our party. Food was really lovely. I had a salad, which was really tasty. Aperol Spritz was good. My in laws loved the specials made by Richard. All in all this was a really nice birthday meal for my husband.

Great staff who had a lot of time for us. Lovely pub with a fantastic pub garden - plenty of space in a nice quiet location. Standard Vintage Inn menu, food tasted great. Lovely pub, highly recommend. Thank you in particular to Elena.

A very pleasant Saturday afternoon spent in the Harrow Inn with my friend for a little catch-up. Absolutely enjoyed our fish and chips for mains and pudding was lovely. Only issue was that the calamari starter was lukewarm, other than that, service and food was lovely. Definitely would return.

New staff turnover is evident. So, in recent experiences, staff are finding their feet. As always we are patient and kind, but I do feel this impacts customer experience. We did wait 40 minutes on Sunday before we got a drink from entering the dining area. We have found this averages around 25 minutes for the first drink delivery at the Harrow when served in the dining area. There seems to be some disparity between dining area and bar (i.e. something needs improving here), where folks can newly walk into the bar area and get served before the diners who are patiently waiting. There seems to be no fair balance worked out here. My advise to people at the moment is to go to the bar, get your drink, then sit down with it, that way you are hydrated whilst you wait for service and someone to take your order and the subsequent wait for it to arrive. The food is 7/10 - seemingly to me, always a little on the overcooked side. But at least it's hot and tastes alright. I would never see the harrow as excelling in the food stakes, but it's never pretended to be. Its at the end of the day, convenient, reasonable good, they try, and as long as they smile and try to not let the punter wait too long, it will trundle along nicely and will always be well visited.

We come today and dined for 4. Brilliant service by Mia and the bar service was good as well. Food to die for tasty and portions were good value for money. It was busy and we were looked after from the time we arrived to the time we left. Caters for all ages and disabled too. I wish I could give them more stars. Excellent would recommend to friends, family and to strangers. Dog friendly as well.
