Fantastic food, first rate service and charming atmosphere. Not the cheapest but then you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny. Thoroughly recommended. I will be going again.
We ate here last night for the first time. Lovely home cooked food, good selection of nicely cooked veg and potatoes. Duck cooked just right, sauce very tasty and steak and kidney pie lovely. Starters and desserts lovely too. Don’t know why we left it so long to eat here but we will definitely eat h
The Jackdaw is superb!
The food is of great quality, generous portions and at a good price. The vegetable melody that you get with the mains is super generous and delicious. There is always a great choice of dishes available and the wine and beer selection is brilliant.
The owners could not be nice
Absolutely beautiful homemade food and lovely service. Had dinner there and booked again for Sunday lunch. Highly recommended.
Lovely home cooked food. The steak and kidney pie was excellent. Came with a nice range of veg and potatoes.
Treacle pudding was thick but light and delicious with a scoop of ice cream.
Fantastic attentive service here by the owners. Really good food and plenty of choice. Steaks cooked exactly. Also fish, chicken very good. Well worth a visit. Small restaurant best to book.
Lovely food in old-fashioned yet charming surroundings. Maybe consider dispensing with the many placemats but otherwise don't change a thing. Genuinely well cooked food, fair prices, cosy place. We enjoyed it very much.
First visit. Partner had chicken with ginger sauce. Nicest chicken he ever had. I had lamb chops with mint from their garden. Vegetables delicious. Felt like a delicious home cooked meal. Very nice owners. Very well laid out for social distancing. Will definitely go again.
Wark is a lovely place full of history,and very nice porple,history is all around the castle holy island Cuthbert, Northumberland is a great county,you ride and walk on it,the views are wonderful,the coast magnificent,
We had lunch today at the Jackdaw restaurant in Warkworth. It is many years since we last visited the Jackdaw. What a superb meal, with friendly staff. We will be back.
This little gem, has good tastey food. Good size portions. Service very good. Very attentive
