Reviews were really bad at this place and because of that never visited. Lived in wareham 15 yrs ago and always went to the more popular one off the traffic lights (wont say the name) recently moved back and naturally ent to the old faithful. But it was awful, bland, tasteless and greasy! So we took a chance at a new one further up ghe main road. Again greasy over cooked meat etc. Tonight we decided to bite the bullet and try KW we were surprised to find it was very good! Food tasted fresh and place even tho bit bland in decor, young lady serving was sweet, and place looked clean we watched through the door at the kitchen cooking area and where the food was being taken from and all looked fresh and clean.
I had chicken chow mein chicken tasted fresh, nice lot of bean sprouts, hubby had king prawn chow mein chicken balls and ribs, he was very impressed with the tender meat and fresh food.
So whether this time was pure coincidence or not our experience was well worth not cooking tonight.
Just one negative though!! No fortune cookies 😢
26/7/23 the food was nice first time going there so was really good quality and the girl that served me was so polite
When living near Wareham, this was my favourite take-away for years. When we occasionally get to go back, the excellent quality remains the same - and the staff are excellent and friendly too. I recommend the smoked, shredded chicken. Their crispy duck is very good too - as well as the classic "Crispy Shredded Beef".
The food was really nice hence 4 stars but not quite 5: I thought it was a bit slack that I asked for singapore vermicelli but got singapore chow mein especially when I try very hard to avoid gluten and I ran the order past the young girl at K+W and said 'one rice noodles, one wheat noodles...' Can't be that complicated? Then the kids ate most of the rice before I realised KW's mistake :-( Also about £5 for 'seaweed' which is of course deep fried cabbage - think that is a bit 'unusual' as it's normally about £2.50 or something where I come from... But moaning aside, still worth four out of five and I would recommend K+W.
Friendly staff , lovely hot food, never had a bad meal from here
Every time we go to sandford park we get a takeaway from here,at least twice great value for money and the food is great

Been using them from when we used to come to Dorset on holiday and since we moved to Dorset 11 years ago - always friendly and great food at reasonable prices.
