Excellent, fast and friendly service. Arrived for an early dinner just after 5pm, and enjoyed a superb beetroot and blue cheese risotto
In town for Santa's arrival, called in for coffee after parade, nice coffee if a little expensive at £2.60 for a black.
Lovely room we stayed in clean and spacious. All the staff very friendly and polite. Nothing to much trouble. If you like your food then do not miss this place on your bucket list. Will definitely be staying again and passing on to anyone that needs a break. Cheers all at the red lion.
Found it quite hard to write a review for the Red lion. I will start with the staff. Very helpful and welcoming. We arrived early and they let us book in hour early. Our room was very clean and looked recently, although on closer inspection there were signs of damage, i can only assume done by pre
We stopped off for a quick bite and to sample some local Ales. The food was nice and the ales were lovely. The interior was luxurious and had a homely feel. There was more than enough space to ensure a bit of privacy. The locals made us feel right at home upon arriving at the pub, which isn't alway
I booked a room at this hotel, primarily because of its location. As a surprise weekend away for my wife and I. The red lion was easy to find has it boasts a fab location at the towns crossroads. yes parking is restricted but ample parking is only a short walk away. The reception we got was warm and
Absolute must when you eat in th Red Lion Pub. BBQ ribs with the most amazing BBQ sauce. Fantastic. Staff are friendly, beer and cider great but, those BBQ ribs will stay in the mind a long time. Having said that our party of 8 adults didn't have a poor meal during our weekend in Wareham.
I would highly recommend the red lion for food. We arrived at 8.45pm and they close the kitchen at 9pm, but still happy to serve us. I personally had the 8oz burger and got to say one of the best burgers I have had. Even the chips and Colsaw was amazing. So good in fact that I had to go back Sunday
I've got to recommend this pub/restaurant. It's centrally located in Wareham, lovely sun trap inside with nice big windows and some comfortable seating. Food was absolutely amazing and such a fair price you could not fault it. Staff also were friendly and helpful. I visited twice during my visit to
Have used the Red Lion recently booking meals for smaller family occasions as well as larger group bookings. Have always had really friendly staff and the management have always been in the restaurant to help with any queries re menus and dietary needs etc. It is really great that they are also part
Visited on Sunday and had the roast. It was fantastic! Clean plates all round. We have been a few times now and each time we are more than impressed. Definitely worth a trip.
Ultra friendly and vibrant staff. Always happy to help and provide. Good atmosphere with nice locals. Food portion and quality is second to none. Fairly priced as well. Would highly recommend it.
I love the Red Lion; it's such a nice environment for a quiet drink in the day or night. The staff are always very welcoming. Epic hot chocolate, delicious coffee, and a great range of beers, ciders, gin, and whiskey.
Came for food and was very happy. Very friendly, efficient service, good food and nice decor. I found the menu a little limited but still had enough options to suit our group.
The staff at the red lion hotel are always very welcoming, the menu is varied and the food is lovely. The pub has a fantastic selection of unusual Gins and is the perfect place to visit if you enjoy your gin.
