I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. It is a very welcoming place and has friendly and very helpful staff. There is a great selection of food and the food is simply delicious, lovely and hot. We ate here two nights in a row and were not disappointed. They were very helpful with my dietary requirements, which is very reassuring. Lovely clean restaurant with lots of great character. I would most definitley recommend here to friends and family and most definitley come back. Thankyou. οΏ½

Brilliant Place to Bring your Classic Cars to as we at South Coast Cruisers We did on Saturday with our American Cars we came from all Parts of the South Coast Amazingly a Massive Car Park and the Food is to die for and plenty off it we will certainly be coming back in fact we shall incorporate The Halfway Inn into our Trips out for our Lunchtime Dinner well done to everyone who works there we will be Back Kindest Regards Derek and Mark
Visited saturday for a works do. Fantastic food, the sirloin steak was the best I've had. No complaints from any of us, well worth a visit.
We here yesturday, just popped in after a visit to Corfe castle, they were able yo accommodateis despite being really busy.

We had a late lunch here, the staff were extremely welcoming. We had our 6 month old daughter with us in a push chair which was no problem. We both had 3 courses each and the food was all brilliant! Can definitely recommend the Thai fish cakes! Not only did everything taste brilliant the presentation was also fabulous! Would definitely go here again when we are back down south.

Absolutely great dinner here at The Halfway Inn nr Wareham, Dorset. Beautifully cooked and it was delicious. Staff were great to, really great to receive proper hospitality. Well done to all, the staff and the chef. ππ»πππππWeβll definitely be back soon.
The little playground kept the children happy too and they left empty plates after playing like they did. Definitely recommend this pub to anyone ππ»π
We stayed overnight in there Large carpark as we have a motorhome and members of Britstop, food good, staff friendly and helpful lots of seating inside and out, also dog friendly

Overall would recommend this place to eat. The food is very good and the portions are great. It is rather pricey for what it is though. The drinks prices are very high in comparison to other pubs. Service is good and felt very welcomed by staff. Dining in the room with the exposed brick walls has a lovely atmosphere, if you eat here ask to eat in this room. Tables are a good size but the chairs are a bit uncomfortable and could perhaps do with replacing. There are a couple of tables that have a narrow bench seat that is in the window, this is quite narrow and can fit two people although it is a bit tight, and it is cold to sit here in the winter due to the draft through the windows. Overall would eat here again and would recommend. As I said, food is brilliant, so delicious! Thank you
The Halfway Inn is a cozy and comfortable pub. Its a great place for a hearty meal on the way back from Corfe Castle. Weβd order the scampi, fish& chips and pie and we really enjoyed it! I felt the food in general lacked a bit of salt but havenβt got anything else to complain about. The staff were very friendly too.
Really helpful Scottish chap served us. We hadn't booked but he got us a table straight away. Drink and food orders taken really quick which was perfect. Food was served really fast as well. Good selection on the menu for adults and kids. When the food came it was perfect portion sizes. Nice atmosphere, great play area and seating outside as well. All in all 10/10
This place is amazing I had chicken bacon Caesar salad it was so delicious and loads of chicken, lovely garden and friendly staff and my parents had deep fried tempura prawns with sweet chilli dressing they loved it cant wait to return when back in Dorset

Very nice remote country pub, located near the iconic Blue pool. Half way between Wareham and Corfe Castle

Warm friendly welcome from our arrival, made a big fuss of our dog, served 2 fantastic curries with all the trimmings (one vege, one chicken). 10/10 for service and food.
Had the pleasure of stopping here for dinner and was extremely grateful for the service provided by both Hannah (the hostess) and Damir (the manager). It just so happened it was Hannah's first day but the professionalism shown by both was exceptional. Great place, with both open garden and enclosed patio included. Food is great too so all in all a great place. Well done.
Really good portion size for the amount you pay, quaint establishment
Today we stopped by, looking for a Sunday roast- the manager did her best to find us a table although it was very busy. The roast beef was pink and tender- just as I love it. Veggies were cooked well and potatoes were delicious. Highly recommend the food. Could do with the βsocial distance β stickers being removed from the floor, but otherwise a good visit.

We had fish and chips, the fish was very oily but I guess that's the nature of the beast, everything was really tasty. Price was reasonable for the area and overall I would recommend.
Totally off the cuff chance upon pub roast. Staff really kind, friendly & very welcoming. I was grateful as I had my mum in a wheelchair with a broken wrist & a crazy collie in tow. We made a booking elsewhere although they neglected to put it down as it happens this worked in our favour because we found this little gem.
The vegetarian option was the best roast I have had in a long time, very impressive as I have become a custom to disappointment when it comes to the veggie option eating out. My mum really enjoyed the beef.

There was also a field to run my hyperactive pup. Ticked all the boxes, disabled access & parking worked well. I don't often write reviews although this experience earnt it. It was also her 72nd birthday so this did make our day. Thanks π
