We stopped off for lunch and to enjoy a proper English Sunday Roast dinner at a good old English pub. I had the nut roast and my partner the roast beef. Good food cooked just the way you got it when you were growing up from the best family cook, good local beer. Excellent Yorkshire puddings. The las
This is a proper small town pub with a good selection of beers, including local micro brewery ales. Good honest pub grub at reasonable prices. Beer garden with access directly off town car park. A refreshing change from the overpriced tourist-orientated pubs that proliferate the area. Recommended.
Came in for steak night for the first time. Considering a busy night, food came out quick and it was really good. I opted for an extra rump steak with peppercorn sauce and a pink of Coke and it only set me back £20.80. Great value for money, great atmosphere and great tasting food
This pub is our local while we are camping nearby. Would have rated 5 stars but our last night was spoilt for me with a group of swearing badly. The food the service and the friendly atmosphere is 2nd to none Just spoilt on our last night by this family. Which I think is unnecessary
Met friends here for lunch. The pub has a homely feel, food is good and reasonably priced, staff friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this establishment for both food and drinks.
Enjoyed a lovely roast dinner. Mine was the nut roast and my partner the pork, great size portions, 3 different veggies plus potatoes, parsnip and gravy, exactly how we like it! Homemade style. Staff were really friendly, quick to serve and the vibe was lovely out in the garden.
My mum and I came here for a steak night and Suzi the Bar staff / waitress went above and beyond, she was constantly attentive to every customer and made us feel so welcome.
Lovely meal with my 90 year old mum. They made us very welcome and the seafood platter was delicious.
Cosy pub in centre of Wareham with garden area to the rear; excellent pint of Summer Lightning served, amongst other decent bitters. Ideal place to visit for a swift beer, following a Sainsburys shop!
Good food, Sunday roast, helpful staff, but very busy!
Had a lovely pub lunch with some family. Recently moved to Wareham and first visit to this pub. Recommended.👍🙂
Only popped in for a pint. Good selection of beers. Staff super friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Standard pub food, nothing unusual. Generous portions. Reasonable prices
Really nice food definitely freshly prepared in a relaxed atmosphere. The prices of the food and beer/wine were very reasonable. We will return.
Excellent Sunday roast, one of the best I have had at a pub!
Great food & lovely staff. Highly recommended.
Visited with friends for a lunch. Loved the charm of the place and food and service was very good.
Ery friendly welcome and service. Arrived just in time to order food and we enjoyed every mouthful. Excellent presentation and flavourful. Even the side salad was varied, not just the usual lettuce, cucumber and tomato! Good range of beers on and we enjoyed what was recommended to us. There is a be
