Saracens Head - Ware - Photo album

Excellent for an evening beer. Went in on quiz night and was busy, but very good atmosphere
The food was all decent, pretty much exactly what you would expect from a McMullens pub. I was there on a nice sunny day and the outdoor seating was very nice next to the river. My only minor complaints were that app to order from your table wasn't working at this location, and the food portion size
Beautiful river/canal to oversee by the bridge at the outdoor seating. Inside is nice too. Nice selection of drinks and food too. Nice place to bring your partner. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Lovely quirky pub/restaurant right alongside the river. First visit to Ware and with the sun shining on a beautiful Sunday afternoon just had to sit outside watching the swans glide by. Add in a pint of Riverside pilsner and an haloumi wrap with fries - absolute bliss. Oh, and also pleasantly surpri
Great place for a beer in the sun along the river, not the greatest beer selection, asahi is a welcome addition, but red stripe should be banned from any bar imo!. The food here is very good, really tasty burgers and loaded fries and freshly done pizzas, can’t go wrong
Great atmosphere, great food
Great pub, lovely staff, food is so so, fine not mind blowing, but pleasant atmos and everyone seemed OK with the kids, decent selection of beer, a d a lovely Malborough sauvignon blanc on the wine list, had a grand time.
Great little spot by the river, pleasant terrace. Bar prices and selection are alright. The staff are friendly. Tried the food once but it wouldn't be my first choice in ware for sure.
Lovely walk along the canal from Amwell to Ware, a drink at The Saracens Head (a very good pint of Guiness to be had here) then you can walk further along the canal as far as you like. Nice setting for a drink or lunch. Very efficient and friendly staff. Wonderful chips too, served with sea salt an
Amazing food as always. Thai Chicken Bites went down a treat.
The best spot on the river lea for a drink in the sunshine on the patio. Manager and staff very welcoming. Highly recommend the Rivertown Pilsner.
Lovely pub right by the canal.. food was good ..manager was friendly and bar staff were great too .. we will be visiting again ..
Lovely place for a drink beside the river on a summers afternoon/evening
Haven't been in for a while and it's looking decidedly shabby these days. Staff were very quick considering it was a festival day with a boat parade and a lot of people about
