Great service and food.
Starters are really something with the buttermilk wings superb in a spicy sauce and black pudding scotch egg perfect.
Loved the fish and the steak would return if ever in this neck of the woods again.

Went first time Tuesday for dinner. Absolutely lovely thoroughly recommend. Beautifully presented and very tasty. Can't wait to go again. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Can't fault it.
Supreme Indian buffet. Only went in for a wee coffee en passant, overcome with the smell of the buffet and just had to indulge. Wasn't disappointed, the nan bread best I've ever had.

First time ordering from The Nags Head and i’ll definitely be back! Delivery was super quick, earlier than expected. Driver was friendly and followed delivery notes. Food was hot and tasty. No complaints at all😁
We've only had take aways from The Nags Head but the food is consistently good. Excellent in fact. Would highly recommend giving them a try.

Super pub restaurant. Nestling in the quiet village of Little Hadham, some nice walks nearby. Great nut roast for Sunday lunch, with really well done veggies and roast potatoes. Maybe put the gravy on the side in case people don't need so much? V generous portions all round. Son had a great steak. Very nice staff and v friendly efficient service. Even a few locals in having a drink but not much space for that tbh. Highly recommended.
6 of us there last night. Food was amazing, service was outstanding. Lovely friendly atmosphere. They couldn't do enough for us. 100% recommend. Best night out for a long while.

The food was tasty, but I was disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered - they delivered Chicken Korma instead of the Butter Chicken. Even the label was "B. Chicken", but not the taste (sweet with coconut milk).
My family and I visited the pub for a New Years Day lunch.
We all found the pub, food and the staff to be excellent.
Lovely choice from the special menu, freshly cooked with a minimal wait when considering how busy they were.
We will definitely be going back.
So nice to find a pub with a lovely feel and with great food, especially when the near town of Bishops Stortford can only offer food outlets from a chain.

Really lovely pub. Great menu with really good food. I had the salmon tartare, which was both light and yet rich. The roast lamb came with fantastic roast potatoes, parsnips and a slice of delicious braised celeriac. The beer was great too. Thoroughly recommend

We enjoyed our dinner at Nags Head last night, the food was very tasty, feels like home-made, lovely quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended and for sure we will be back.
We used their takeaway service this evening (during lockdown) and had three burgers (regular cheeseburger, blue cheese-burger and a plain one for my son). I also had a couple of pints of Ale they had on draft from the local brewery (in take-away form). It was all awesome. This was one of the best burgers I can remember having. Not only that, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Not sure what else to say, if you haven't tried it - instead of getting a pizza or some other main-stream takeaway, try the Nags Head.
