George Iv - Ware - Photo album

The George the IV continues to be the one of the best pubs in herts. The tapas style dining has some fantastic dishes. The burger was a showstopper & on par with luxury dining. Selection of beers is also good including Cruzcampo & 1936 which is a Swiss beer.
Fantastic pub! Staff are always very friendly and the food is amazing. They change their menu regularly so there's always something new to try; don't forget to look at the daily specials board as well. The food is always super tasty and very well presented. Our regular local spot for great food, wou
We went for a Sunday roast with kids and my aunt. The kids ate for £1 which was an absolute bargain. As usual the service was wonderful, the wine was amazing and the food was spectacular! We shared the 500gm sirloin between three adults and it was massive and came with loads of sides!

It had a beautiful outside seating area surrounded by gorgeous mansions which created a very surreal vibe as you dine, almost as though you're on a movie set. The staff were extremely friendly a
Good location, cozy posh, amazing front and back garden friendly stuff and good customer service
Went here for lunch on a sunny day so we sat out in the front garden which is really relaxing with calming background music. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing! It was so good we are going to return to try their dinner menu and Sunday lunch! Definitely recommend!
Enjoyable Mothers Day Lunch My first ever visit to the George in the beautiful village of Great Amwell. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Drinks arrived promptly, as did each of the 3 courses throughout our stay. It has a nice cosy atmosphere and the food
Took my husband and another couple here last Wednesday evening. Lovely setting, staff were really attentive and the food was delicious, I'd thoroughly recommend it. The crevettes were just so tasty.
Mediterranean Night on Saturday evening, friendly and attentive service, a good selection and variety of tapas style dishes on the menu, tried quite a few and all were delicious, certainly didn't leave still hungry! Would have no hesitation in returning.
Having been meaning to come here for ages and it lived up to expectations. It isn’t cheap but quality was fantastic and wine - although a limited choice - was reasonably priced. Staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back
