A very friendly coffee shop. Staff are attentive and polite. The store was clean and tidy. There had been a power cut and they kept anyone well informed. Downside there always seems to bins in one of the doorways.

Great Costa, come here all the time, staff are very friendly and the remote ordering system works very well, coffee is always hot and prepared at a perfect balance between speed and quality. Lovely historic interior and comfy seats. Although it is a chain there is feel of indivduality created by the wonderful staff.

Didnt mean to go here but couldnt fibd a cafe, tearoom etc open near tge uffington white house, so travelled to nearest town of Wantage. The usual Costa menu. Nice old building but would be nice to see some history about it somewhere inside the building (but I didnt look everywhere) especially as they seemed to have made some alterations

Nice and cosy for a warm up cup of coffee. The toilet is large enough for disabled customers. However the entrance doors need to be held open by other people to slow a wheelchair to enter or exit. No step though.

Around 4pm was incredibly busy, no cake left and lots of school children but despite it being the only coffee shop open and only one barista to serve he handled it well and professionally. Will go again but early on in the day next time.

Cold frappe needed on this hot day. 50% off tiffin really added to it.

Quirky building layout adds character. Coffee good but as always not cheap. Dogs not invited in.

During lockdown the staff in Costa Wantage have been brilliant- I am a bus driver and during this time very few places have allowed the use of toilet facilities for non customers. The staff here have never refused or insisted one buys a drink in order to use them. This makes me happy to buy a drink when maybe I wouldn’t have normally. Staff always friendly and helpful and even if you haven’t been there for several weeks, always remember your order! Full marks and well done!

It's a Costa, so you know what to expect on the food and drink front. Nice, interesting old building though, which gives this Costa a lovely atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Popular with a wide range of people. Outside seating at the back too for smokers and dog owners!

We’ve been coming here for 3 years (about once a month) and the staff are always very nice, cheerful, they never mind my fussy requests like single shot of espresso in my latte or to toast the sandwiches for extra long etc. It’s true what a few reviewers mentioned, that during busy times there can be a bit of a queue or that the tables don’t get wiped that regularly, but personally I’ve never found it hard to ask for a piece of kitchen roll and disinfectant to give our table a quick wipe when I can see that all staff members have their hands full serving customers, but if you mind this sort of thing than perhaps visit in non-peak times for a great experience. All in all my partner and I love coming here with our laptops for some over-lunch mini-strat sessions every 2-3weeks or so as we really rate the atmosphere and staff friendliness of this particular Costa Coffee Shop.

I go to Costa in Wantage market place several times a week for a Mocha for myself or with my family. The staff are extremely friendly, offer a great service especially through this challenging Covid period. The make an effort to remember your regular order and are a pleasure to deal with.

Relatively small coffee shop. If it's busy I can imagine struggling to find a seat, but at quieter times, it's a nice place to while away time with a hot drink. Staff were cheerful and friendly. Probably the best of the coffeeshop options in the centre of Wantage.
