Special shout out to Silheti tonight! Their food is always amazing but due to this tonight’s wait was longer than their usual. (We were warned when ordering that there would be a little bit of a wait which is fine!) Upon arrival our delivery driver could not have been more apologetic for our slightly delayed food which was absolutely worth it! It was piping hot and flavoursome as always. Thank you from two happy regulars!

The food was good and generally mild for thise who are not too keen on spices/strong flavour (i am not talking about hot pepper). It was a nice and enjoyable visit. I will certainly visit again but it's not too one indian food restaurant. One of the great things at Sylheti is that you bring your own drings not a bad option to save some money here. The portion sizes were reasonable. Staff was great.

Great service, food is tasty, `bring your own` works very well - we go here frequently and enjoy it every time.

The best curry you can get anywhere let alone the area and run by lovely people who are experts and genuinely pleased to serve you food you like, bring your own drinks, prices incredibly reasonable, Sylheti Spice is the best.

This is the best Indian in the area. The owner is so welcoming and lovely, he always gives us extras, and refuses to let us tip as much as we want. I highly recommend if you’re visiting or from the area. You will not be disappointed :)

Just had a meal here, my first visit it was amazing, did not disappoint at all. It was hands down the best meal I have had at an Indian restaurant. Will 100% be returning. The staff are so friendly too.

Best Indian in Wantage and surrounding areas, have tried all of them and Sylheti beat them all on quality, service and value. We use Sylheti once a week and are always happy. Thank you

Hidden gem. Not as snazzy as other Indian restaurants, but authentic, very good food, reasonably priced and is not licensed, so you can take your own drinks (they also don't do soft drinks). The pub opposite are happy for you to take drinks over. They have wine glasses on the table and will open your beer. This also keeps your bill down massively. There were regulars in there when we visited which is a good sign. Friendly service. 👍👍 they will be doing takeaway during lockdown.

We love this place. Great guys who run it, very friendly and helpful and will tailor any dish to your palate. Lovely flavours with good depth of spices. Dishes are made to order, not in advance then warmed up. Pilau rice fragrant, naans really fluffy. Very good portions.

Stunning food and great hospitality. The curries are among the best in Oxfordshire. Do not let thier disorganisation with a terrible website and menu put you off.

Excellent Indian food, its a family run restaurant very polite and friendly you can ask for anything while there and they will out of there way for you. Top guys went there after recommendation found out they have been there for the past 19 years. So 19 years of cooking Indian food they definitely do know how to cook yummy Indian dishes.
