Had an amazing lunch here with my wife the other month. The card payment didn't go through, and we didn't realise until we were 15 miles in on hardains Walk. I rang and told them and sent payment via PayPal. The food was amazing, and I can't wait to return.

Friendly staff, nice community atmosphere, spacious cafe. Comfy sofa seating available, and good tea, coffee and cakes. There is also savoury food available like sandwiches and soup, but we didn't try these as we visited for afternoon tea.

This is a lovely little tea room we stumbled across en route to our holiday home. The food was really tasty, with a good selection of sandwiches, specials and homemade sweet treats. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we were given a few ideas for trips out in the local area. We'll be paying the another visit before we head home. Prices reasonable too!

Lovely tea room in the village hall in Walton. Popped in for a cuppa and cake after walking Hadrians Wall. Lovely peaceful setting. Nice food.

Great place to stop when hiking Hadrians wall - just a short diversion from the trail and you’ll really enjoy the lunch offerings as well as the cakes and pastries!

Walked all morning in the rain. This place was dry and warm and had soup. Plus, it was the only establishment open in the town. So, yes, I was a pretty happy camper.

What a fabulous little cafe and a great find just a few steps from Hadrian’s Wall. The perfect stop or breakfast if you’ve started early, lunch or just a cuppa and a snack. Pet friendly and the perfect sausage and egg sandwich. Friendly service and good quality. Definitely worth planning a stop off here!

Fantastic little cafe, in a beautiful village on the Hadrians Wall path. Loverly, good quality food at very reasonable prices. Friendly welcoming staff. Visited twice, once in 2019 and again in 2022. Will definitely go again when in the area. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely breakfast here when we were walking the Hadrians Wall Path. It was hearty and in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Food and drinks were good and you can bring your dog. Price ist great for what you get.
