The food and service here was excellent, seems like a locals pub but very welcoming to tourists.
There was a few of us and a dog but they had a table set up for us and everyone really enjoyed their meal.
The deal of 2 steaks or fish and chips and a bottle of wine was a bargain!
Would definitely go back!
Our first visit to this fab pub today. Great staff (friendly + accomodating) & amazing food (freshly cooked + very generous), plus we got to sit right by the TV to watch the footie! Can totally recommend + great food options for veggies. We will be back.π π π
Excellent Steak Night last night. 2 really tasty tender steaks all the trimmings and bottle of wine Β£34.99. Great Value for money.
My family has been visiting this pub for the past 20 years or so, the staff are friendly and chatty, they sell a good range of beverages hot and cold. I do not think we have ever eaten here though, so I can not comment on the food, but when I have seen other people's food come out to them, it does look well presented, not really sure why we have never tried it, maybe on our next visit.

went here today with a friend of mine, we had never been to Walton-on the naze before and we decided to go for a roast it was an amazing experience. amazing service, amazing roast dinner and very friendly staff, not to forget to mention very good prices as well. very impressed with the cleanliness of the pub and the beer very nice. i will defiantly attend this pub again. thankyou for making my first experience to Walton-On-The-naze an unforgettable one. please thank the chiefs for the food. had a very lovely table right by the window looking out at the sea. couldn't have asked for a better meal.
Always friendly, food generous , to much, even small dinner, large. Staff 5 star. Go every Sunday for lunch.
Great Guinness and nice friendly staff. Dog friendly, We sat in the beer garden watching the kite surfer's. I will definitely be going back next time I visit the beach
