Lovely meal here today, literally the best garlic bread I've ever tasted! Really nice and relaxing by the log fire. Will definitely be returning again for a meal soon.
Went in for lunch yesterday. Beautiful garden on a lovely sunny day. Can highly recommend the 3 egg omelette it was delicious! The staff are always friendly especially Katie. Also love the idea of dining in one of the cabanas.

First time we have been since the revamp, very pleased with the layout of the tables you didn't fill cramped at all the food was good and plentiful, also the staff was very attentive totally enjoyed our afternoon.

We used to frequent the Blueball before its refurbishment and enjoyed our visits on those occassions. We now love the way interior has been changed and the way the new windows have opened the place up. The exterior has also enjoyed improvements with the childrens play area and what i would call, "the outside dining huts". On our vist on 26th Sept, our friends whom have never visited before realy enjoyed their food plus the homely look of the surroundings. We shall go back.
I came on a weekday lunch time as I'm trying to train my dog to get use to settling in public places and I know its a dog friendly pub. The lovely waitress sat me down and got a water bowl for my dog. I ordered the 3 for £12 small plates and they were delicious, highly recommend the brie bites and haddock goujons. Rudy my pup was also given some treats. It was quiet but it was a Monday lunch time. Beautiful pub and beautiful setting. It can get busy I have driven past many times. I'm so glad I went, we had a really good experience and my dog did well settling lol. Thank you, Rudy and I will be back!
We've been to The Blue Ball several times in the afternoon after a dog walk on the heath. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious. They are very welcoming to dogs and have made us a bowl of sausages for them on more than one occasion. There is small play area for children in the beer garden and also covered boothes along the side of the pub if you want a little privacy. Great pub. 👍
Best roast I've had out anywhere, good quality food which was cooked to perfection. It was a busy Sunday when we went and staff were difficult to get hold of at times, but it's to be expected on a busy Sunday and the staff that served us were all very polite and helpful. Would definitely go back here without any hesitation!
A welcoming, tastefully decorated, and comfortable pub with good food selection. The meal was delivered quickly and was of excellent quality and quantity. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend this place in the picturesque village of Walton on the hill.
Came here last minute for a Sunday roast. So happy we did service was incredible super friendly and helpful staff. Food was unreal, meat was cooked beautifully, lovely veg, perfect roast! Will defo be back
Had Sunday lunch today food and service was excellent. Family friendly good value for money. Only downside was dogs were allowed in the restaurant, yes have them in the bar area but not in the restaurant

Popped in for a quick pint, Heineken very well kept and reasonably priced for the area. Warm day so the garden was well used by families but the bar was empty for the same reason. Large car park and outdoor smoking area.
Went for Sunday Lunch with the kids and we had a fantastic meal. One of the best roast dinners we have had in a pub and will be coming back for the roast chicken. Great outdoors space where we could let the kids run about while we enjoyed our pudding
Great for kids! There is a beer garden and play area in the back with ladders, a slide, and a bridge for kids as well as lots of room to run around.
Chips are great. Otherwise, food was fine.
Lovely pub in the heart of Walton on the Hill. Warm and friendly with great food and an extensive drinks menu - including local Silent Pool Gin.
Stopped off here for a couple of drinks with friends.. Nice pub in good location and plenty of parking.. Friendly atmosphere and staff.. Great if you have a dog as field and woodland right opposite.
This little gem in the picturesque Walton on the hill was a wonderful find. We went on a day with a target complex offering though, an outdoor BBQ pitch looked tempting but wasn't part of the main service so we had to pay cash and collect our food, which took several iterations to sort. Plenty of outdoor seating as shown and the restaurant inside looked upper end plush for gastropub.
