We had a great time with George the bartender and got to know Martin the new owner. He and George have done a great job making the Pub a very clean and inviting place to visit. They also host live music and will soon be serving food also. We will be back to visit and hope to spend a lot more time.
A proper old school pub. Under new ownership and management and it shows. The beer is excellent quality, the pub is spotless and the atmosphere is great. Thanks George!
Martin has refreshed this pub to the best. He has done an amazing effort and his pub is amazing.
Under new management, this place has efficiency turned itself around. Caroline, Dave and Robin are very friendly and welcoming. The George Inn is definitely a place to visit for its shepherd and neame bears and cider and of course the warm welcome.
Great pub to visit if your in Walton on Thames. The landlord and landlady are very friendly as well as the rest of the staff and customers.
Sunday lunch is a must and more food than I've seen in long time, but you have to book to avoid disappointment as word is spreading about how good it is.

As soon as we walked in we felt welcome! Really great pub and while we were watching the rugby they gave everyone free snacks! Will definitely come back.
Felt like a local from the moment we walked in. Thank you for making us feel like part of your family. We had visited the pub a few years ago, we were meeting as a close friend reunion. The Duke box is a lot of fun and George the manager made sure we had a great night.

A proper old-fashioned town centre pub. Decent selection of well-kept beers from Shepherd Neame. Quite simply decorated. Two TVs showing sport and a Juke box. Regular live music. Feels like a pub for locals and more likely to appeal to men.
Oh my what a night we chose to go with my two sons and friends. Who live outta Walton. Was a saturday and you had a live band. We had so much fun singing dancing . I had no voice the next day was a freak night and can't wait for a return visit. .
Great pub big screens for sports nice courtyard area with covered seating if needed, good selection of beers
Under new ownership as of Aug 2017. Good locals pub with friendly staff and well kept Shep's ales. Excellent value homecooked Sunday Roasts too!
Great little local pub, lovely vibe. Good selection of beer. Amazing live music venue with a welcoming crowd of regulars. Highly recommended.
