Amazing restaurant. I've been to traditional restaurants, expensive in and out the country but this one is my favourite by far. Better than any rokka, sushi samba, stick and sushi and ang other fancy place. If you want a fresh japanese food with a reasonable price, go there.

One of the best sushi restaurants around. Authentic, cosy, warm, attention to detail, and the price is very reasonable. You can tel the chefs take care. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive with a smile. 10/10,definitely my go to sushi to eat out from now on!
The dashi for the tempura prawn was so tasty! So flavoursome!!! Best I’ve had in years!! The prawn tempura handroll was nice but could have been better with a sauce inside, seemed a bit bland. Overall, for our first time there would definitely try again
Searched for sushi restaurants and this had many great reviews so decided to try it out, drove for 25 minutes to get here but its so worth it. Went on the the dot of opening hours at 12pm Sunday, was the first table and ordered a beef bento, a lunch set menu 12£ and sushi set £12, seaweed salad 🥗 .
Absolutely loved this place. Amazing food served by fantastic staff. Stumbled upon it by chance and very glad we did !
A hidden gem just set back from the highstreet. We always have a great time at Sushi Wakyo - good, varied menu and nice layout with little booths available. Highly recommend the tempura veggies, takoyaki (pictured below) and the dragon roll (pictured below). The ribs are good too!
Highly recommend here. You must go for a try. The new chef is really good. You even can order something which is not on the menu. Fresh seafood, tasty food, plus good service. We are really enjoyed. Will definitely go back again. Hopefully Wakyo considering omakase sometimes. 😊
Really a hidden gem recommend going here quiet and they have a lovely lunch deal for sushi lovers.
