Strawberry Hill, hats off to you. This food was absolutely amazing. I got the boneless jerk chicken with rice & peas and dumpling. When I say this is one of the best and most authentic tasting Jamaican food I’ve had in a long time!!! Got the vegetable curry as well for my dad, it was top tier. You left my household very happy. Ordered through Just Eat, delivery was really quick & piping hot. I also like the fact your main and side are packed in 2 separate containers as well so you can easily plate up as much as you want. Thanks again, you’ve got a customer for life.

Ordered from Strawberry hill several times over the last few months and I must praise the deliciousness and consistency. I've tried many Caribbean restaurants and honestly this is one of the best. My deliveries have always been on time or early on many occasions and the food is sublime. Right level of spice, and flavour. Always comes hot and delicious. I highly recommend the curry goat, jerk chicken, oxtail, mac and cheese and plantain. The jerk sauce is also a must for anyone who loves to pour extra sauce over their meat and rice like I do. Very happy family will continue to order from Strawberry hill time after time.

Well currently my mouth is dancing my feet are tapping what a meal. Brown stew chicken Mac n cheese oh lord take the wheel absolutely amazing but don’t get me started on the dumpling that deserved a shimmy 😂 that was a meal I never wanted to end thank you so much. I would have posted a picture but as you can guess there was not enough time.

I went there for the first tim yesterday under this new management, the previous management normally let you see what's in the container, whether you need more gravy etc. I ordered oxtail with rice and peas, asked if they did a supplement, IE small salad, plantain, . they said steamed cabbage, when I got home I could count the shredded cabbage in the container, the portions are small compared to what you are paying for a regular meal £9. The food is excellent no doubt about that, the service needs to be improved no one acknowledges you on arrival. You just keep standing until someone attends to you, I waited over 10 minutes. Also there was a customer who brought a DOG into the restaurant, that dog was sniffing everywhere in the restaurant , whilst customers were eating, some were looking in disgust and not saying anything, not one member of staff said anything to the dog owner, that dog should have been left outside of the restaurant. Usually in restaurants and food shops only a guide dog allowed and they also have a notice on their door beforehand. I don't think I will be going back there. In the Caribbean dogs are not allowed in food shops period. Not even where you are preparing food, food hygiene. We need to speak up when something is wrong, and we can't always want to hear the good things and not the nit so good things. It's a way of making things right 😔

Went in the shop on a weekday lunch time, few people in front of me so had a 10 minute wait to be served. Ordered boneless jerk chicken and rice and peas, very tasty and large portion. Would recommend.

Such a fabulous place. Reasonable pricing too - what's not to love!? The portion sizes are decent (even for a man). I've been coming here now for at least 4 years, they never fail to have something to offer. The customer service is always amazing (the lovely lady that's always serving is genuine and always happy to help). They've recently renovated, so there is somewhere to sit down and eat now. Saving the best till last, the food (for me) is always on point. Personally tried the beef/cheese patty (which if it's there is amazing), the sticky chicken wings (delicious), curry goat, oxtail, ackee & saltfish, chicken soup, the punches (drinks) MMMmmMMMmmm...I could go on and on; honestly I would say HANDS DOWN, the best Caribbean in the area.

The score for this place surprised me. Nothing but excellence everytime I order on Uber eats. Meat is always tender, well seasoned and plentiful (i always order boneless curry goat because im lazy and cba to remove meat from bones lol). Mac and cheese never misses, good sharpness and different cheeses. Rice and peas are coconuty just the way I like it, not too dry. All my friends agree too. Never visited to sit in, but strawberry hill has very quickly become my go to order when I'm feeling like Caribbean at home. Recommend to everyone who lives in the area after cycling through the different options, I'm glad I've found a spot that delivers quality consistently. Luvvvvvittttt.
