4 of us visited on a Monday evening after travelling for 1 hour 30 mins. It was very quiet which to me is a little concerning sometimes but the food was on point. The sharing starters were amazing. Cooked to perfection and all tasted so good. We were very impressed. The steaks were slightly over cooked around the edges but the middle was tender and juicy. We were very happy with the service and the price too. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend this place.

Came here for the first time and definitely will NOT be my last. I went for the Rio Sizzler burger. It was out of this world. The meat was soft, the onions and peppers were crunchy but soft. The peri peri chicken sauce was really good. A nice spicy taste. One that left you wanting more. Well done to all and hats off to the chef.

Tasty food, decent portion sizes, good service and no music. Great for families and they have a screen for sisters who wear a niqab. Have been here many times and just found out the owners changed but the quality of food has remained which is great! We ordered chilli cheese balls, chicken strips, kids cheese burger meals and Eiffel Tower burgers - all cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.

Really lovely burgers. Saw them on a lot of halal food bloggers pages so we visited not expecting too much but the service was lovely, burgers were gorgeous not many places you go where everything you order comes out nice but every single item we ordered tasted incredible. Food came out really fast too.. my favourite burger place 😊😍 they even gave us complimentary drinks (possibly as we ordered a lot) left this place very full and happy. May Allah bless your business and keep it busy and thriving as it is deserved ❤️

Burger was nice well stuffed as we order most expensive one on the menu, burger meat tasted dry but overall it was nice. Travelled 40 minutes to get there.

Loved it, we went during off-peak hours and the service was fantastic. I've been craving a good steak sandwich so I went for the Rio Steak Sizzler with hand-cut rustic fries. Definitely will be coming back. My only criticism would be the menu design quality, and format.

Amazing food! Firstly the customer service was so wonderful and helpful making the experience that much nicer. I’d definitely recommend this place, it is a family friendly diner (also have high chairs), with amazing juicy sticky wings, great cheese balls and onion rings. The Burger was fantastic, I ordered the super Sahara burger, it was different and really nice, they had fried cabbage inside which really impressed my tastebuds. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sauces were really nice. Mocktails were definitely worth it, very tasty. This restaurant is Cash Only, but there is a cash point down the road.

Been here years ago and didn't disappoint today! Cleanliness not an issue got given good amount of time to decide. Picked the Empire state burger single patty, I think its called Sahara west burger double patty its one of their most popular, mak fries, spicy rice and bbq wings. Burgers was very good, my burger bun was a bit overdone was burnt but didn't mind. Spicy rice was mediocre would avoid. The mak fries was the champion, immaculate, juicy and hit the spot, wings was nice flavour too. Definitely will come back again.

A friend took me here promising the biggest burgers in East London, and it turned out a great dinner. Mine was a huge burger, with amazing toppings and very fresh ingredients. Generous portions and friendly staff. It does get busy so go early to get a table.

Great burger place in East London. The meat is superb quality. They use 28 dry aged angus in their patties and the taste difference from most other burger places is remarkable. They Mak Fries with pulled beef are a delicious side. The only reason why I can't give it a five star rating is because of their inconvenient cash only policy. This is a real hassle for those of us who don't carry cash. There really needs to be a card payment option in this day and age, there's no excuse for it. Apart from that, highly recommended!

I was somewhat skeptical at first of MAK Grillz. The place was not so busy when me and my wife walked in at around 8:45 pm this Sunday evening. I ordered 6 buffalo wings, half chicken with chips whilst my wife ordered the Chicken Eifel Tower burger with Maks fries. We had our buffalo wings served within 15 minutes which came in good time. We waited an awfully long time for our mains. We waited atleast another 20 minutes considering it wasn't so busy. The food arrived, I noticed I did not get two breast pieces of chicken as requested which the waiter had agreed to. I mentioned this to another waiter who agreed to have it corrected, but I really didnt fancy waiting another 20 minutes for a breast piece so I settled with what I was given. I did over hear the waiters talking to another customer that their grill had broken down maybe that was the reason the food was taking longer to be served. The food tasted great, the buffalo wings were on point, the chips were not soggy and tasted fresh, they were not re-using old oil in the fryer which was a good sign. My missus finished her burger before I could tuck into my food and the meat on the Maks fries were lovely, very different from the so called 'muddy fries' sold at other places. My chicken came 'hot' literally hot on the plate and in the mouth just the way I like it. I was informed it was Brazilian flavoured spices! They don't accept card which meant I had to leave the resturant for the nearest cash point and pull out some money which was thankfully just across the road. Although we had a bad start which i thought was going to be a 2 star review the taste of the food pulled it through for me. Overall 4/5 for Mak Grillz, would recommend it.

Table given as soon as we walked in. The menus could do with some pictures. Orders were given. One empire state burger and the other was big ben tower burger, both with standard fries. Food came within good time. Burgers tasted great. Fries were similar to McDs fries. Overall rate this place good. Typical spend with a starter would be around £20/head

This is the best place for American style food. I would recommend the Empire State burger and the burj khalifa with rustic chips. Also the chicken tenders Oh my god!! They are to die for 😍. This is my favourite place to go to ☺️. Need to explore the rest of the menu too .. can’t wait ☺️

Mak Grillz, the food here is lovely, so full of flavour and they are excellent with timing of food and presentation. The customer service was of high credibility. Only thing that may tarnish Mak Grillz business ethic is not accepting card payments but being only cash. Overall I would recommend Mak Grillz to all who like burgers, Hot dogs and other naughty goodies.

The food was lovely, very tasty. Came out in good time. The customer service was ok considering there was only 2 table. It only didn't get 5* is because it was cash only and it didn't say it anywhere cash only and inside was bit dark. I though they were closed so I had to call to double check. Will I go there again probably will coz the food was nice.
