The Tilted Barrel - Waltham - Photo album

We booked a meal for my Dad's Birthday last week and we can honestly say it was a wonderful experience. From the minute we walked in the service was impeccable and the staff and owners were so friendly. They recommended dishes and the quality of the food was superb. The desserts... Well absolutely b
We came to the tilted barrel with a grandparent for a late lunch on a weekend. Therefore this review is just of the restaurant not the hotel. There is a large amount of free parking but it seemed very busy so plan ahead. Service was friendly and professional if a little slow (only one staff member w
This pub/restaurant deserves 5 stars all round. We had an excellent meal last Thursday. Quality and presentation of food, friendly, efficient staff and a great atmosphere made our evening. We recommend you try this pub but you need to book well in advance if you want to try the carvery as there's a
Excellent fish pie, also my father enjoyed his roast. Photo before all the lovely veggies came out.
Can’t wait for this place to re-open, missing a pint in the bar after our walks and the great food in Russell’s. We’ve ate here on numerous occasions and never had a bad meal so would definitely recommend...friendly and knowledgable staff too. Roll on lifting restrictions and getting some normality
The restaurant was clean and tidy. A nice welcome. A slight wait for drinks. Order was taken reasonably quickly, and food arrived shortly afterwards. My colleague had overcooked fish, which was replaced without quibble very swiftly. A cheerful service with reasonable prices. Good specials board.
This is a beautiful & friendly restaurant the food was divine service fantastic. Looking forward to going back . Definitely recommend going 👌
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and great staff
1st time i have been to The Tilted Barrel, went on Saturday 27th May 12pm for pre-booked lunch with family, we sat outside in the blazing sun having a few beers while our meals were being prepared, the staff were polite and friendly and our meals was delicious, hoping to return soon.
Nice relaxing atmosphere, food ok, unfortunately one of our dishes had to go back because it was cold, will give it another go.
Beer was very good but pricey, wine was very good and reasonably priced, service wasn't great and could have done with more staff but probably hampered by the small bar.
Nice looking pub clean and inexpensive. Superb food in good size portions. Sweets are superb and staff are friendly and welcoming
We had a meal today and can not fault anything the staff were superb and food delicious I would fully recommend this restaurant to anybody wanting a perfect meal and atmosphere.
I ate here yesterday The service was excellent with cheerful friendly staff I had lamb rump that was cooked to perfection My son had rib eye steak that was exactly how he wanted it cooked
A very quiet night, only ones in the bar. Good selection, nice place, friendly staff.
Myself and my family try a different restaurant each week for Sunday Lunch. We have been doing this for a few year now so we have tried and tested many places. Each week we discuss the meal and give it a score. After our visit last week, every member of my family gave The Tilted Barrel the highest s
Busy pub with separate restaurant. Didn't eat but there was a nice selection. Pub sells real ales as well as the usual fare. Prices were about average for these days so you don't need to take out a mortgage. Staff were very friendly and polite. Kept on top of the busy period with no real waiting. Wo
Great restaurant, friendly attentive staff, fantastic varied choice on menu, great food very tasty and well presented. Thanks
