Great place to eat just off the motorway.
We were looking for a place to eat on our journey home. We wanted something nicer than a quick fast food at a service station without a long detour for a proper meal.
This place did not disappoint. Really yummy food on the lunchtime menu, that was reasonably priced for the quality.
Was just two minutes off the motorway And ample parking in front of the restaurant.
Will come again.
Excellent restaurant in an unlikely setting. Food was beautifully prepared and presented and I will be visiting again. Don’t take my word for it, pay it a visit and you’ll leave happy
Very good quality Turkish food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is very good. Would happily recommend to friends and family. Would visit again if I was in the area. I thought the price of the meal a little higher than the quality delivered; so I give 4 stars out of 5.

The menu is small with not much choice,
Lack of vegetarian and child friendly options,
The music, they really need to play better music that customers can enjoy, today they were playing what I believe was a Turkish Break Beat music, I understand that it is a Turkish restaurant but there must be more popular music they could play.
Went here last night for birthday meal.
It was absolutely fabulous, the food is exquisite and authentic. Good quality meat, cooked to perfection, fresh crisp salad and amazing home made bread and good portions at extremely reasonable prices.
The restaurant is set out open plan, with plenty of room between tables. The restaurant was full on a Thursday evening,that tells you how fantastic the food is!
Staff were so helpful and courteous, really looked after our table, nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommend this restaurant, it’s a little gem and I will be returning soon.

Had a absolutely great night last night at shish kitchen great live entertainment the guys singing last night was absolutely fantastic food was just perfect delicious and price was so so reasonable drinks amazing I realy recommend this place and it was nice not to be recognised by anyone so had a lovely evening with my guest. Will definitely be going again before Christmas. Staff was so nice polite and helpful
Wow the atmosphere is so amazing here. The staff were so welcoming, they accommodated my son surprise 16th birthday dinner. My guest are all still raving on about how delicious the food and cocktails was. I will definitely be back, best Resturant by far in Cheshunt.
My Sisters and I had a great meal at Shish Kitchen on Tuesday 2nd November- Leaving meal as my eldest Sis is going to America to get married and live there.
Ugur & Luba looked after us all evening and made the experience lovely. Great food , Great Staff. A real treat. Thanks again to Ugur & Luba for making our final meal a memorable one and COMPLIMENTS to the amazing chef!! Food & Prosecco as always was 2nd to none 😊
Do not be put off by the unusual location or decor. The food is excellent 👌 😋 honestly you'll drive up and doubt my review, but never was "don't judge a book by it's cover" more apt.

Omg what a hidden gem , visited this restaurant for my sisters birthday. The food was lovely and fresh .
Staff was really helpful and accommodating.
I had a lovely meal with my three friends. I had a lamb shish and it was beautifully cooked the lamb was so tender and delicious . I don’t have any complaints and this is very rare for me. Really good quality good x
Very friendly and welcoming staff, fresh tasty food and lovely atmosphere. Suitable for vegetarians who like to eat tasty food instead of something nondescript and boring ! We’ve been coming here a long time and it was our saving grace over lockdown when we had a weekly takeaway. Same staff as now and still smiling!

Lovely setting and a good menu. Waiting staff were friendly but not overly attentive which caused me to have to get their attention etc. French martini was lovely and my meal was very good. Desserts are clearly purchase premade however very nice.
Was working down in London and was staying in a travel lodge, where me n few other found this hidden gem.
Never been in a Turkish restaurant before so was going in with a open mind. This restaurant seem to be very popular with the amount people going, with that said we was thinking that we was gonna have to wait but we got a table straight away.
There was a nice range of starter and main to choice from. Abit price but it was worth it. The food was fantastic and full to the brim. Respected range of drinks including cocktail.
If I am in that neck of the woods again, you'll find me in that restaurant.

We had a set menu as there was 8 of us, i was lovely
I have visited a few times now and service is always good. Food is generally very tasty, well prepared and well presented which is refreshing. My only gripe is that 3 of our party order cop shish which was extremely salty. We did not have the time to reorder so about half of the cop shish's were eaten. We spoke to the waitress at the end and one of the meals was removed from the bill which was a fitting gesture. Would return.
