A very nice local called Gary, phoned to book us a table, which was extremely kind of him. I have to say everybody was so lovely when we walked in they should be very proud to be running such a lovely pub, tearoom. The food was awesome!!!

Had a quick lunch and it was brilliant. Ham, egg and chips a must. Very kid friendly and a good pit stop for the drive to the coast.

First time visit and even though it is a 10 min drive from our home we would be happy to make it our local. Food is plentiful and fabulous and the staff are so cheerful and friendly that by the time we left we felt we were being treated as one of their favourite regulars. Our visit was a birthday occasion but I think you would be made to feel as welcome, even if just popping in for a drink! Word of warning - skip breakfast if having the lunch and skip breakfast and lunch if you are having dinner - then you can enjoy all 3 courses on offer! 😉

We stopped in for an early dinner yesterday (Saturday) and it was delish! The team are always so welcoming. All the food was obviously fresh and when I asked if the southern fried chicken burger was suitable for dairy free it was no problem at all. Incredible portions, really tasty and all of us (including my 6 year old) cleared our plates!

Eggscellent. Walsham nice. Clarke's was the reason for going there. Perhaps every time we need a screw we can go 20 miles, and to the pub !

A lovely village pub. The traditional, varied menu caters for all tastes and dietary requirements. The food is obviously freshly prepared and is of excellent quality. The staff are genuinely friendly and very accommodating. Sunday lunch is fantastic value and clearly is home cooked - the Yorkshire Puddings are particularly good!

A nice pub in a lovely location. In all honesty it doesn't look much from the outside however the bar area is cull of old world character. The restaurant is a modern addition with very large wi does loomi g out p to a very large beer garden. I want for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy. We ordered one of their speciality burgers and it was very nice. Well presented and taste. The real star of the Boar was the young lady working both bar and restaurant, possible the kitchen as well for all I know. Incredible glamoures, she never seemed to stop and nothing was to much trouble.

As we are about to move to the village thought to check out the village pub on one of our visits . Bar Staff was exceptional, draft Guinness how it should be ( I have encountered a lit of substandard pints unfortunately) . Food was great , one comment : a salad menu would be nice) . Definitely worth a visit , even if not local ! I look forward to it becoming our local

Stopped here for a pint and a snack then had to wait for rain to stop, no pressure to keep buying drinks while we waited for the rain to clear. We shall call again when we come this way.
