I was brought here with my daughter by family after he looked on the Net at nice places to eat and we wasn't disappointed. The food and presentation is next to none all fresh homely made and the amount you get as well you won't be going away still hungry. The desserts was lovely as well highly recommend the treacle pud and custard . Friendly staff and made to feel welcome can not rate this pub enough. It's a 100% must. Will be back soon with friends :)

Lovely place to visit The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome as we are not from the area and our family met at the pub for a birthday meal for my sister. Good choice of drinks at the bar and lovely home made food on the menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desserts. Definitely worth the money we paid

Best steak I've ever had in a pub and proper home cooked food, not frozen like most pub grub. Friendly staff and good wines at decent price

Come here all the time. A lovely friendly atmosphere, dogs and children welcome, excellent food and service. There are theme nights for pie and pint, burger and curry evenings, as well as a wide range of freshly cooked food on the usual menu. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic few hours in the garden having lunch sitting in the sun listening to a singing guitarist. What a way to spend bank holiday Monday. We often have eaten here in the evenings & have never been disappointed. The food & service is always top notch.

We come in here all the time, all their food is fresh and local, cooked to perfection, from first to last bite is absolutely delicious, amazing friendly atmosphere, can't stress how wonderful this place is. Being local to Walsham, we can't stay away from this pub since its just up the road

My husband and I went to 'Pie and a Pint Night' for the first time on Tuesday and had an absolutely delicious meal -in fact it was the tastiest pie I have eaten in a very long time! Looking forward to a return visit to sample some of the other pies on the menu.

As a large family, we gathered on Boxing Day. The service was extremely friendly and jovial. The home cooked food was served hot and all in good time. The portion size was exceptional with the quality of the food being excellent. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend the Blue Boar for another family meal.

I’d seen the Blue Boar advertise in the local village community page where I live, only 6 or so miles away so I thought let’s try the breakfast. Rang up to make sure they were open being 22nd December and it was a yes …drove over and went for the big breakfast and a coffee phew all good quality sausages, bacon, black pudding, eggs, beans, grilled tomato and mushrooms… might have missed something 🤣 By the end I struggled on the last few mouthfuls and left a few bits on the plate … Great meal .. there website shows which days they open at 9am.

A nice pub in a lovely location. In all honesty it doesn't look much from the outside however the bar area is cull of old world character. The restaurant is a modern addition with very large wi does loomi g out p to a very large beer garden. I want for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy. We ordered one of their speciality burgers and it was very nice. Well presented and taste. The real star of the Boar was the young lady working both bar and restaurant, possible the kitchen as well for all I know. Incredible glamoures, she never seemed to stop and nothing was to much trouble.

First time visit and even though it is a 10 min drive from our home we would be happy to make it our local. Food is plentiful and fabulous and the staff are so cheerful and friendly that by the time we left we felt we were being treated as one of their favourite regulars. Our visit was a birthday occasion but I think you would be made to feel as welcome, even if just popping in for a drink! Word of warning - skip breakfast if having the lunch and skip breakfast and lunch if you are having dinner - then you can enjoy all 3 courses on offer! 😉

We stopped in for an early dinner yesterday (Saturday) and it was delish! The team are always so welcoming. All the food was obviously fresh and when I asked if the southern fried chicken burger was suitable for dairy free it was no problem at all. Incredible portions, really tasty and all of us (including my 6 year old) cleared our plates!

A lovely village pub. The traditional, varied menu caters for all tastes and dietary requirements. The food is obviously freshly prepared and is of excellent quality. The staff are genuinely friendly and very accommodating. Sunday lunch is fantastic value and clearly is home cooked - the Yorkshire Puddings are particularly good!

A very nice local called Gary, phoned to book us a table, which was extremely kind of him. I have to say everybody was so lovely when we walked in they should be very proud to be running such a lovely pub, tearoom. The food was awesome!!!

As we are about to move to the village thought to check out the village pub on one of our visits . Bar Staff was exceptional, draft Guinness how it should be ( I have encountered a lit of substandard pints unfortunately) . Food was great , one comment : a salad menu would be nice) . Definitely worth a visit , even if not local ! I look forward to it becoming our local
