IMHO, I suggest you come and try Scoffs yourself and ignore some of the previous negative comments about the food and staff.
I had a beautifully freshly battered fish and a box full of batter "scraps" which requires TIME to fry if you want it freshly done. The owner fried that fish to perfection!!
Delicious food. Very fast service staff are welcoming and polite. Nice and clean. Will definitely be coming here again. Salt & Peper Chinese chip & the spicy chicken burgers are the tasty. They are worth trying. Thank you Bobby & staff 😁🍟🍔
First time using this chip shop I was very pleased with my experience.
Customer service here is excellent with a great atmosphere.
There's a handful of tables to eat in and toilets.nits a small footprint place and my food was delivered to my table on a plate.

Fish was cooked to order and was thoroughly enjoyed like the rest of the meal. Staff are always welcoming and friendly.
New owners and the chips are really nice know and the owner has good banter and also likes to try different things like battered pigs in blanket which are nice .also everything is really clean .
Place has recently changed ownership/management, so few things have changed, however, have been using this chippy for the last 3/4 years sense I moved here, and will definitely continue to use it as they have kept the standards and products, and went the extra mile to make sure the menu was not affe
The food is amazing always top notch. The food is always hot. Very clean premises nothing out of place. Great banter with the staff and owner always a pleasure to go in. Thank you scoffs.
Scoffs is the best chippy in bloxwich and the manager is lovely I don’t understand why some people wow go in there now it’s changed over 🤔 the chips are better then before xx
Not always the hottest chips, but tasty. Good pork and stuffing with chips special. Best chippy in the high st.
