This restaurant has got to be one of the best local dinning places serving Indian/ Punjabi quality food. Great food, attentive staff, perfect decor. Enjoyed appetiser of poppadoms & dips, starter of Fish Amritsari and main course was Lamb Karachi with a side of rice & didn’t need a dessert but others in our group chose the cheese cake which tasted amazing. Couldn’t fault it. Would certainly visit again.

After having an absolute nightmare on Mother’s Day at another restaurant ā€˜roti pani’, this restaurant ā€˜shimla peppersā€˜ saved the day and welcomed us with open arms. They offered us indoor or outdoor seating. I thought it would be too cold outside but the garden/decking area had such a Mediterranean feel to it we decided to try it after the waiter said he will heat up the whole area - I was more curious than anything so we tried it. To my amazement the waiter managed to heat up the whole outside decking area using just 4 outdoor halogen heater/lights. Honesty felt like we were on holiday. Starters and mains were served on time and came out piping hot just as we like. Food was super tasty and I could tell everything was freshly prepared using good quality ingredients. The chicken curry I ordered was divine. Naan was soft as you like and drinks were plentiful and flowing. 2 waiters that made our night very special and were very attentive making sure we were always topped up and didn’t have to wait more than 30 seconds to get there attention - customer service at its finest. Jahid and Miah were both absolutely perfect waiters and hope they get recognition and a bonus for their outstanding customer service!! Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again :)

Wow......what an absolute fab restaurant this is. Never been before. My son treated me for my birthday. There was four of us and from start to finish it was brilliant. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Staff attentive and pleasant. As for the food....well it was beyond delicious. I don't usually have a starter as I struggle to eat the main if I do but the portion sizes are perfect and whilst full at the end I didn't feel bloated. Can't comment on cost as my son and his partner paid but safe to say we will be returning. Would love to go in the warmer months and sit outside.

I cannot recommend this enough, fantastic food and what a wonderful atmosphere. Hidden gem in Birmingham. Best curry house I've been to in ages, and lovely garden.

Beautifully laid out restaurant, although it's a tight space inside it was really really beautiful, its like being lost in a giant garden. Entrance was slightly hard to find but we managed to get there in the end. Cocktails were delish and quite different to the usuals. Good food and very friendly staff. I am definitely going again to celebrate our next little win!

Had a lovely time at a lunch reception hosted at the restaurant. Jewel and the staff made sure all our guests were taken care off and food was delicious. Everyone had a really nice time and couldn't believe this charming restaurant was all along in Walsall. I highly recommend Shimla Peppers. Thank you to all of you for a memorable day.

Love this restaurant, some traditional dishes and lots I've never heard of so make sure I try a different one every time and so far all have been delicious. The king prawns are great. My son is vegan and they adapted some vegetarian dishes to suit. Great service, lovely restaurant with good vibes and great heated outdoor area. Fully licenced. Car park. Entrance and walk from car park not suitable for wheelchairs.

Another excellent Walsall Indian restaurant with an outstanding, usable all year round, external dining balcony. Good food and good service.
