A crowd of us went last night, it was my first time since the place had been revamped. The food was lovely and plentiful, staff were obliging. I will certainly go again. You must be doing something right there was a queue waiting for food as I left.
Great food, good atmosphere, excellent value for money but go understanding its a pub serving Indian food dont go if you want waiter service. Arrived at 8:30 to find last carpark space, place was busy with families, work parties etc and asked to wait only about 5mins for a table to be prepared. Menu is basic however covers curries, grills and side orders all but no frills. You order at food counter and pay first, the service was fast, courteous but again no frills. Tika starter, Chicken Achari Keema Nan, Pilau Rice and fries all perfect to my taste and nothing leftover. Will definitely go again, couldnt fault value for money.
Top place been atleast 50 times good food good beer th coors light is a great pint and th food speaks for it's self don't think I've eva had anythin wich wasn't nice
Your food is excellent. I had the large mixed grill and my wife had the Chicken Balti Madras.
My only niggle is that the size of the mixed grill has diminished in size.
Please keep the original size and I’ll be there forever.
The best place ever, great service, amazing food, lovely family owned business for years, 10/10 all the way from me, I’m proud to have this establishment as my local, I’m proud to know the family and friends also.
Great food. The large mixed grill is huge and easily feeds two. It’s only £12 too. Well worth a visit
If your after a large carte service you won't get it here ... but what you will get is the absolute best food in town .A pleasant atmosphere in nice surroundings ..and nice beers too

Great tasting food. There was little waiting time, considering the place was busy. Service, spot on
great food good and they are top lads who run then place
I booked a table for 12 of us as we wanted to celebrate my dad's 70th. The Bradford was my dad's favourite place for food but unfortunately he had a stroke two months ago and is still really poorly so he couldn't be there. The food was fantastic as always and the staff were extremely helpful - taking a family photo for us, giving us complimentary bhajis as we had a short wait for our table and bagging up our leftovers. We all had a wonderful time and we'll be back very soon.

What a fab place, this was our first visit here and would definitely go back, the food was stunning - the grill platters are amazing - lots on there and the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, the meat was juicy and well cooked, the different curries were also top notch with plenty of meat and sauce. Nice friendly staff, they come and take your order and you pay before the food arrives. You also go and help yourself to plates, cutlery, napkins etc. There is a well stocked bar and seating for just drinks, also plenty of outdoor seating. It does get very busy in here! There is a large car park at the side but be careful of the road surface, there are a few potholes. Definitely worth checking out, stunning food!
Fantastic venue with a great atmosphere, the aromas from the beautiful food cooker here permiate through the room and create a deep hunger upon entry. Meats are tender and perfectly cooked with the spices blended to complement each one specifically, personally adored the saag chicken and the cheese naan was cheesy without overdoing it. Very good value for money indeed, 5 of us ate for less than £100 and we left not only satiated but with doggy bags to take home of leftovers. Fantastic.
Very busy venue where we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated but had a drink at the bar while we wait. Food was very good, had a mixed grill and a buttered chicken which was different to other butter chicken dishes. It was very good!
Perfect from start to finish. . Staff was very welcoming, especially the young guy behind the bar. Thank you. 5*****
We will be back food was lovely & served hot
I returned was just as good. Thank you for always making us feel welcome,
We will be back !!
An excellent place for a mixed grill and the only one that is halal locally. Great value food and drinks too. Recommended!
What an absolute gem of a place 💎
Service was brilliant, food was amazing and the price was very reasonable! I came here on 13/05/23 at 2pm with a friend for a catch up and food. Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere matched that. I will definitely be coming back and I would 100% recommend it to others 👍
Totally not what I expected when I first arrived and the waitress wasn't very friendly or helpful, however, the dishes we had delivered to our table from the server was excellent, the smells we experienced in our way into the place were firmly being experienced in our table, we enjoyed every mouth full except for having trouble to find the meat on the lamb chops, we will return here but maybe a little wiser next time to the menu
A super recommendation from a friend. Great food, up there with best Indian food I've eaten..
Food was amazing ,have to be quick place can fill very quick , but only shows how good it is
Very good food. It was very busy when we got there on a Friday night but they soon had a table for 16 ready for us. Sadly we couldn't book in advance. A little too packed for my liking.
So we came here for the first time on a friend's recommendation and we are happy we did. We have struggled to find Indian cuisine restaurant that offers that little more than the average but this could be he one.
Pros:
The establishment has a very lovely vibe and feel, much higher than you average pub. You can come here semi relaxed or fairly done up for the day or evening get out.
Table order service was a nice touch.
Outdoor space: is decent sized and very summer space.
The food: The medium mix grill is delicious and enough for two people if you add a side of some sort and a naan. The tikka and Sheesh kebab are cut above the rest.
Staff are friendly.
CONS:
Food: the fries we ordered came out alittle cold. And you have to pay upfront which is just not the norm I'm used to and caught me off guard alittle.
Food & drink serving times: unfortunately you cannot eat food until after 2pm weekends and 4pm weekdays+ drinks. Would be ideal to serve at 12pm on weekends to ensure you can go for an early lunch.
But would recommend this place to all and any
Visited last night with my family , can’t fault a single thing of the night. The staff are just brilliant.. Catherine looked after us.. all staff work so hard! Food was 11/10, incredible! Thank you for making mine and my family’s visit wonderful xx
Delicious food, fair pricing, do not miss
Big family get together with 4 children and one baby, kids ran riot but the staff handled them well. First time for myself , the Champy sizzler the most expensive one was absolutely superb to say the least, all extra starters were perfect. Curries were good a little on the smaller side to be honest but were good. Drinks were very reasonably priced I thought.
Sunday afternoon, premiership on Tv's equal mix of male and female customers enjoying very good Indian food in a very relaxed atmosphere. If you have considered going, then do it. You will not be disappointed.
