Really tasty Thai food (although skip starters and go straight to the mains) the duck curry with lychee in particular is excellent! Service is fast and always friendly, atmosphere is great inside and you'll usually find Max's busy as the locals know how great it is
Excellent Thai restaurant. A family run business that has been here for 15 years or more. Spacious and bright. Service great, food delicious. There are daily specials too alongside the extensive menu. Very reasonably priced.
Fantastic family run Thai restaurant. Even if you have never tried Thai food before. I strongly recommend. Staff are friendly and helpful and your tastes buds will be converted to the "Max" to go back again and again to try endless combinations of the chefs dishes. The chefs at Max Thai restaurant are brothers and have world experience of living abroad in many different countries and places including working in Japanese and French restaurants as well as working in bluewaters kent fine restaurants. Waitresses are very polite and friendly with excellent speaking English and Thai with in depth knowledge of the menu. Strongly recommend :-)
Nor ally I am fussy about food but this place! Absolutely delicious! The food was amazing best I've ever had and the staff were very professional and polite with smiles. Great job guys! 5*
It was good portion and very tasty.
The only downside are collecting food is 10% off not 15% and Sunday isn't open as it said on homepage.
But food was by far best in Sutton, even vegan menu!

Thai fishcakes were excellent, with a delicious side sauce and garnish.
Pad Thai with Prawns, Chicken Stirfry with Thai Basil and Chillies, Prawn Strifry with Ginger were all very good. Prawns were very juicy!

Good selection of standard dishes at reasonable prices. Nice for a relaxed meal (it's more spacious than the exterior suggests) and takeaway service has been speedy when I've used it. Friendly staff too!
Absolutely delicious Thai food from a genuine family run business, busy with locals most weekend nights and the takeaway service is always busy. The duck curry with lychees is my personal favourite, although I'd say just skip the starters and get a selection of the tasty mains dishes

A really lovely Thai restaurant. The beef salad is mouthwatering moorish.. the curries are to die for. the coconut rice, heavenly! Service always with a smile. Recommend!
Been here 2 weeks in a row now and love it, never see it before, but definitely worth checking out. The food is good and the hygiene rating is 5 too which is a plus!
A friendly family run Thai restaurant that offers lovely food at cheaper prices than any other Thai place in Purley.
Watch the board for specials and I can highly recommend the Tom Kha Kai (coconut chicken soup), it's so good!
Parking is really easy, there's a huge carpark out back.
Easiest rating to give. Simply delicious. Very well presented inside. Very popular. Great staff. Ok price, about £8 - £10 for typical mains. Will be coming back!!!
