Been humming and harring about going to this restaurant for months and months, all because of the reviews! We finally decided to take a plunge. It was very easy to book a table over the phone. When we got to the restaurant we were greeted like regulars, so lovely! Our table was ready, amazing Spai
Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night for a romantic meal for two. The restaurant was quite busy but not overcrowded or noisy. The staff were very professional and attentive. The food was excellent and of a very high quality. Do strive to leave room for the sweet trolley, it never fails to im
Our favourite restaurant in the area! Food is very delicious and comes in very good portion. Staff are very friendly. Have been twice and will definitely come again.
Nice, friendly neighbourhood Spanish restaurant. Had a delicious chorizo and red wine starter. The sweet trolley is a winner! I had to choose the sherry trifle!
a wonderful, old-fashioned restaurant run by a lovely couple. Sadly, it's closing at the end of June 2023 as they're retiring. It will be much missed.
We had an excellent meal. All three courses absolutely delicious. We have never been disappointed in this restaurant. The service was very, very good . The proprietors were friendly, helpful and attentive. It was lovely choosing a dessert from a dessert trolley and everything looked delicious and te
Authentic Spanish food served by the most lovely husband and wife team who I discovered have run the restaurant since 1978! Everything I ate was utterly delicious - garlic prawn starter, paella main and dessert from the dessert trolley (yep dessert trolley! 🙌🏼). Can’t wait to go back
I have lived in Carshalton for 28 years and have been meaning to try El Nido as I have heard such great reviews from friends and family. We visited last night as it was the only restaurant that had availability and so glad that they did!! The service, atmosphere, food and cost was fantastic and I wo
Just love this place. I'd not visited for a few years but the food and service we're as top class as always. I had mussels to start (just mussels, no shells in a wonderful sauce 👍) and then the chicken & chorizo paella. Both were excellent. Everyone else at the table really enjoyed their food. All i
Expensive lunch menu, not for regular dinners, but great for special occasions. Food is delicious, but not suitable for tropical/spicy pallets. Great collection of desserts.
Have driven past El Nido hundreds of times but last Friday booked for two. Firstly, being a non drinker I was pleased they stock 0% San Miguel beautifully chilled. Good start. There is a very relaxing atmosphere you don't feel other patrons are sitting on your shoulder. Then the lovely Mr & Mrs Garc
Been wanting to go for years, was very excited for the dessert trolley. I was so happy! The food was lovely, the staff were so attentive and all the puddings looked delightful. Will definitely be going back
Visited El Nido for the first time this evening - we have been wanting to go for years as we have heard many recommendations about this place. Our experience was lovely, this is a Spanish restaurant run by a Spanish family and the make their own homemade desserts. We thought the food was wonderful a

This restaurant is simply the best. Most delicious food at a fair price, 3 course special. Family run so excellent service and a wonderful welcome. Please support our local restaurants - they are the lifeline of our community. You'll feed well and You'll feel wonderful. You'll love an evening here.
Lovely food, perfect service, langoustines, ravioli and lemon meringue. Yummy!
This is a classic silver service restaurant with excellent Spanish dishes, English desserts and passionate staff. Took fiancé there and he loved the mushrooms and olives - he normally hates both. The fresh ingredients are truly fresh.
Lovely food, good service, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Service not exceptional like we'd been told it was. Could have been a bit more prompt, proactive and anticipate the things we had to ask for. Things were quite slow but this fits the relaxed pace of the place. Would be nice to have wat
