I had breakfast with a small group. One of us is vegan and we were worried as there were no clear vegan items on the menu. However, after asking, the staff were very friendly and had a dish suggestion ready that our vegan member ordered. Out of all the things ordered the vegetarian breakfast looked amazing and to my information tasted great. I had the Bunkfest Breakfast, which was good, although the sausages were smaller than expected. I would have loved some homemade bread and possibly hash-browns. The menu, although clear and concise, should note that there are specials also available. Thanks for having us :)

Wanted to get coffee, ended up getting creamy mushrooms on toast, minus the spinach, Eugh, why? Lots of breakfast choices, cakes, baps. Many vegitarian opions. Well worth a visit, even if its for the ecclectic decour. Comfy sofas, mirrors on the walls, framed quotes. A special little hide-away with an outside seating area and on street seating. Pay them a visit, you won't regret it.

Cannot comment on the food as we only had drinks, but everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The space inside is quirky and comfortable, a great place to relax, however service is very slow. It took over 20 minutes to serve up two basic coffees. It's certainly not the place to go when you are in a rush, but if you want to chat and chill then this is better than any large chain. I cannot imagine you would ever feel hurried along. The back garden was a bit grim, but if you have toddlers that are going to be running around and annoying you / others, it's perfect as there is a mud kitchen. I noticed games and even knitting on some of the tables so I would certainly go again with my daughter.

Really friendly cafe serving full breakfast to paninis to cakes. We had a full breakfast and it was very tasty and great quality. None of your cheap sausages! Lovely place to be, great home made feel. Really lovely place to visit for lunch or breakie.

Nice pastries, atmosphere and drinks. Service was a bit off (not that friendly, and there was no record of what we'd ordered when we came to pay, so we had to remind).

This place is so cute! I was rushing to a baby class and realised I didn’t have lunch sorted for today (I’m a nanny, living my daily life like anyone would with a little one to consider) so I popped in and asked if they could prepare me a super healthy salad for an hours time- no onions, I chose my topping of pulled pork with apple and was on my way. After the class I returned and there it was, absolutely jam packed with salad, seeds, avocado and the topping. I scoffed it down whilst the little one was persuading himself he didn’t need a nap- you know the running back and forth in his cot scenario. But it didn’t matter, I’d eaten and it was delicious! I will be going back as often as I’m visiting Wallingford! Thank you girls!

A quirky cafe. Mixture of styles in décor. Friendly service and amazing veggie breakfast (they do a meat one too). What's not to like. Nice coffee

Nice and cosy family run cafe. Good food choices and very friendly staff. Coffee a bit on the weak side for me, but a generous mug of good tea is the alternative. Hot chocolate looks good too. They do a really nice all day breakfast. As they do a good trade in takeaway you can wait a while at table but it's such a nice environment with funky decor that it's not a problem at all. Definitely a good independent alternative to the ubiquitous Costa.

Small family run business, the staff are pleasant, the food is nice and the decor is good. Because it's small, when a lot of people come in then things can take a while (but the staff will tell you). No jacket potatoes when I arrived so I was told about alternatives - which is better than just being told stuff is sold out.
