We were a party of three celebrating a Birthday. The staff was great as always. Very professional and extremely friendly. We started off our meal getting the Special soup of the day, Lobster Bisque. We loved it and there were large pieces of Lobster in it! Absolutely delicious! We had the rack of lamb which was cooked perfectly and was excellent. Also the Shrimp Casserole which was buttery with large Shrimp and lightly covered in bread crumbs which kept it from being a heavy dish. It was light and delicious. Which left room for dessert. The staff and people in the restaurant joined in as the wait staff brought our dessert and sang Happy Birthday to our Birthday boy! They asked his name first and sang as if they knew him personally! They were wonderful! I highly recommend Laskara! You will enjoy it!
Go for the early bird, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. You get a complete dinner from appetizer to salad to entree with dessert and coffee for under $20. Great choices and even better food. The wait staff is also the best I have met. You won't be disappointed.
Laskara never disappoints. Our meal was great. The service and staff are always the best. The only thing missing is my friend John 😢. R.I.P. my friend. Your family has continued to carry on the atmosphere and traditions that keep us coming back year after year.
We went last night we had reservations for Valentines I brought my five-month-old grandson and everybody was so friendly and the food was excellent very family orientated service was great and the prime rib was fabulous and their chili bass was one of the best I've had I highly recommend this place
Our server. Debbie was very attentive and the food was delicious as usual..Ladies. Night menu is a Plus including your salad. appetizer, Entree and dessert for 19.95. Very homey feeli ng with the fireplace going.
We just love it here. The fried oysters are the best in the state. Consistently good. My salmon was cooked perfectly. We can have lunch with the girls, a dinner party with the family, or apps and cocktails at the bar and we are ALWAYS happy. The staff is always spot on.

We went last night for our anniversary. Even took a 2 and 4 yr old. They were more than accomadating for the whole family. We did the early bird special. Every course was as delicious as the next. I ordered New York strip and it was one of the best I've had. My wife had eggplant parm and that was equally appetizing. Laskara gets a perfect score. Food, service, atmosphere, prices... all great. We will be coming back.
This is my all time favorite place to have a special dinner. Service is excellent, the food is outstanding and Easter Brunch was exceptional....

Well Worth the Visit. My husband and I had dinner at Laskara;s last Saturday evening. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is nicely decorated and we were greeted warmly by the hostess. We had called ahead to see if we needed reservations because the website encouraged them, but were told to just come down. Much to our surprise, the restaurant was not very crowded and we were seated right next to the beautiful stone fireplace which had a lovely cracking fire going in it. Our waiter was not much to write home about, he did his job, but had no personality. The waitress for the table next to us, who commented that she had been working there for 15 years was much more engaged with her tables, but really, it didn't alter our positive experience. The menu was varied including a page of specials and the food was very good. The family style Greek salad (served with every meal) was very good. My husband had the Paella (not really Greek) and he was very pleased with it. I had the sliced Rack of Lamb over mashed potatoes with broccolino on the side and the lamb was very tasty and cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared a piece of Baklava, which we were told was made at the restaurant. We were surprised that it was served warm, which made the top more soggy rather than flaky like it is supposed to be. I'm not sure why it was served warm and we both would have preferred it served a room temperature. I wonder if it was frozen? Not sure how they stay in business when there were so few tables on a Saturday night, but my husband and I will definitely visit again. The ambiance was warm and inviting and it was a quiet restaurant where you could easily have a conversation with the person or people you are dining with. Dinner for two with one appetizer, 3 glasses of wine, two entrees and 1 dessert came to $100 pre-tip.
Consistently money!. A laid back space where hipsters sit side by side with middle aged locals and everyone just says "yum". the cocktails are fab [go for the espresso martinis] . Sit by the fireplace in the winter and a booth the rest of the year. Every meal starts with a generous communal bowl of salad. but the best part is usually a special. my fave is the seabass over mashed potatoes. also great is the salmon and anything veal.
Thanks to Melissa for last Saturday night. We came in for Prime Rib & after a moment of confusion, she brought out a beautiful end cut! Our entire meal & evening was fantastic ✌️❣️
Always like the uniqueness of this grandfathered location of this restaurant. Which, is set in the middle of a residential area. Service is always efficient and excellent. Food is uniquely prepared and tasty.
If youre looking for a romantic date night reasonably priced and darling atmosphere come here. We were a little under dressed so dress up!

It's pretty easy to find, stands out on the corner where it is. Yes, as some have said the decor may be a bit dated but once you start eating the amazing food you don't even notice.
Our waiteress was warm and friendly and went out of her way to look up a cocktail recipe than she wasn't too familiar with. The cocktail came out great.
We had the saganaki for our appetizer. It's this cheese in olive oil and they set it on fire. So, so tasty!
My husband got the paella for his main and it was delicious. I had the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. You also get a salad (family style) with the entrees. Comes with a few grape leaves and is pre-dressed. It tasted good (maybe a tad heavy on the dressing).
We will definitely be back.
The food was amazing and so was the customer service. I enjoyed talking with the staff and the different foods I tried for the first time. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend!
They’re closed til July 25 on a 1 week vacation. Love this place, but glad I called ahead! Didn’t see anything about them being closed on their Facebook page.
Laskara has been our go to place for New Year's Eve dinner for years, along with other occasions throughout the year. We have been lucky also to sit right by the fireplace every time. I love the remodeling they have done, it really has brighten up the place. Food has always been excellent, prime rib is exceptional the most recent visit I had the shrimp/chicken piccata, delicious. The French onion soup was very good. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner in a casual setting with great owners.
Wonderful locally owned restaurant. Numerous very good dishes, I personally like the lamb, while others enjoy the prime rib, seafood, and other dishes. The decor, atmosphere and the attentive staff (especially the owner) create a nice eating experience. The wines are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Always a great experience. We have been coming here for years, going back as far as when my parents took me here. Now I get to share the same great experience with my kids. Maria and her staff are so friendly and welcoming. You feel like family walking through the door. Our meals were excellent. The shrimp and swordfish special was delicious. I definitely recommend making a trip to Laskara.

We got lucky and were able to make a last-minute reservation on a Saturday night—but if you’re planning to come on a Saturday, call ahead! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. Everything we ordered was enjoyable; standouts included the mussels, spanakopita, and house-salad dressing (which was out of this world delicious!). We’ll be back next time we’re in town.
Ambiance was nice. We shared stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which was very tasty. I ordered the shrimp & scallop pasta with fra diavolo sauce it was delicious! The service was prompt and our waiter ( Zachary) was very attentive. We needed to change one of our orders and it was well after it was ordered (it had meat & my friend didn't realize). The staff was kind and assured it was not a hassle. My friend was pleased with with the replaced meal. The meal was worth the cost. The establishment was clean, comfortable and there was plenty of parking. There is a bar so it is possible to just come for a drink. I'm looking forward to returning.
We got a prime rib dinner for take out. We enjoyed it very much. The meat was just the way we wanted it.

This place is absolutely awesome! First time for us. We had dinner with another couple who raved about this restaurant! Now we see why! Drinks great, appetizer was delicious. Food great. Service was excellent & so friendly!! I would’ve gotten dessert but I was just too full lol. We will definitely 100% be back! Sooner than later I might add!
