I went there with a friend on Wednesday night, and we had an excellent meal, with superb, attentive service. They do an eat-as-much-as-you-like menu for under £17 - and then we paid the £1 supplement to get duck & pancakes. A bargain, and excellent quality. We skipped the soup (we got there after 9pm), and then had several excellent appetizers - I particularly recommend the spare ribs, and the satay chicken, and the crispy seaweed. So many good things! Then we had the duck, which was a lovely treat. And then three excellent main dishes with egg-fried rice. And then we only had space for lemon sorbet from the choice of pudding. All in all, a really great evening!
Went for a meal with my wife and mother. This place is by far the best food we have ever had.The service was fantastic and great value for money. If you have not been you must give it a try.

I come from Canada to England every 2years to visit family and we always visit Shanki Li. Yum yum double yum. REALY yummy food, great service and my family is awesome!
The food from here is always lovely and cooked to perfection! Everyone who has served us has always had a smile and are very polite. Definitely recommend!
We went for father's day and apart from the first 20 minutes, we had the restaurant to ourselves � food was amazing as usual and service was great! We love this place and hope it remains as good as we have always experienced. Will be back very soon �
Went for the very first time, with our friends. Never made it passed the delicious starters and duck. We ate loads! Yum yum!
It was very quiet as its no longer a restaurant! We don't live around here but it was the closest Chinese to where we are staying, the gentleman on desk was polite and listened well to our requests the food was really delicious.. .. honestly the noodles are the best we hsve tasted and the beef with mushrooms was amazing we had other dishes that were delicious too! We will be stopping by agsin before we go home!!

A really, really good Chinese restaurant, though now takeaway only, I believe. You'll have to travel a fair distance to find better than this. I highly recommend to one and all; superb and delicious cuisine.
Great tasting food, just excellent! We buy extra takeaway to have the next day (saves us a journey) because it's so good, even reheated in the mic it still tastes great! Well done Shanki-Li Chef's, your the best...
Great food last night (Saturday 18th Feb 2023) we had a family takeaway. New to the area so checked reviews of local takeaways and this place had the highest. Lovely tasting food, now absolutely our new Chinese Takeaway. Keep it up please Shanki-Li.
A friend of mine was lovely enough to take me here and I loved it straight away. The owners are wonderfully friendly people and all of the staff give such a personal service that even someone like myself who was not from the area was remembered when I returned five months later.
The crispy lamb is the best thing on the menu in my opinion. I could eat that and that alone and still be happy. That being said, everything on the menu is beautiful.
It can get very busy so make sure to book!

Wonderfully friendly team serve up a waist-expanding all you can eat chefs recommended banquet filled with some 8 generously sized starters and 3 main courses for a measly sum. Quality and flavours are great. A spacious and clean dining room add to the experience. A rare and out-of-the-way little gem!
I have been working in the area so gave this place a try. The service was really friendly and quick and the food was delicious and perfectly presented. It was so good in ended up eating here 3 nights on the bounce. If it am ever back in the area is will be eating here again.

The staff are so friendly and they are amazing with our toddler. They have several high chairs but they were also happy for her to attempt to sit on a big chair!
They gave us advice on different options to try and gave us information on where they originate from and little snippets of Chinese food info.
They are attentive without suffocating you which is sometimes hard to get right.
The food is an all you can eat but made fresh to order which means the food is always really really yummy!
Genuinely can't recommend enough!
90% of the time Excellent food bur occasionly food standards slip as if a different chef and food becomes very average. Could also do with writing down your order as some times forget bits. But overall an excellent Chinese restaurant. One of the best I have eaten at.

The Shangki Li. Cholsey's best Chinese cousine and buffet restaurant! I have visited here several times in the last few years and have always enjoyed and been delighted with how much and how delicious the food is served, cooked and tastes! I always enjoy and love the starters as they have some of the finest starters to divine your taste buds in. The food is magnificent and superb quality. Hot, fresh, tasty and delectable. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcomed! The staff are polite, chatty and always superb! The food if your looking for something to dive your taste buds I highly recommend the variety starters, duck and pancakes and for mains the delicious, mouth watering chicken curry. I've had the Chicken curry every time and have always enjoyed and been pleased with the chicken curry. The deserts are also brilliant although I just go for some good old fashion vanilla ice cream, but that hits the spot exactly perfect with the mains and starters. My review could go on for ever but why read when I highly recommend you try the Shangki Li one night even get the family or friends to enjoy some fine cuisine food! Trust me you won't regret it! I gaurentee it! 5/5 for staff. 5/5 for food. 5/5 for hygiene and service. 5/5 for everything else!!!

Excellent, great taste, reasonably priced and ready for collection when they said it would be. Would thoroughly recommend for take away (have not eaten in).
We were just passing by and we have been very pleasantly surprised. Very good service and delicious food. Highly recommended. Btw. All of the restaurants around close at 2:30pm and this one is open during the whole afternoon.
