The food was excellent, the staff are very attentive and friendly, overall the service was excellent, would thoroughly recommend to other customers
Lovely place for lunch, we stopped on the way to the chilterns view for the weekend thought we'd missed lunch service so nearly left, glad we didn't as the food was lovely especially the sticky toffee pudding �� (could of eaten it again and again lol) looking forward to our Sunday lunch xx

Had a great Sunday roast with the family yesterday and Gary and his staff made sure we enjoyed ourselves.
Lovely lunch at Shepherd’s Hut. I bought a voucher from Jack FM back in May and luckily we picked the perfect day to have lunch. The garden is a sun trap. Lunch was fabulous, good old fish and chips and scampi and chips. The fish had crispy batter and the fish perfectly cooked, the scampi was too. Dessert was chocolate fudge cake and the crème brûlée, both were scrummy. This pub was our local a few years back whilst being based at Benson, it was fab then and still is today. Well done Fluxy & team.
Cozy little pub. Managed to fit in a large party of us for a birthday. Everyone agreed the food was very tasty and between us had lots of different items on the menu. Will be going back in the future!
Popped in for a drink but not food. The Sunday lunch food on other tables looked good and appetising. Heineken 0% was £4.20 so on the steeper side. Roast lunch prices: chicken or beef: £17.95. Duo: £19:95. Small: £12.

Nice outdoor potential but untidy and rubbish not cleared away at top garden. Shame. Oodles of potential and friendly staff. May need a fresh pair of eyes to see what can be improved. Will revisit.
Limited menu but food really tasty and portions perfectly adequate. Staff friendly and efficient. Beer garden not particularly attractive but it is tidy with clean seating and tables.

Chanced upon this country pub after finding it difficult to get a last minute lunch on a Monday. The food was excellent (fish and chips and a great ploughman’s) and the service great too. We sat outside with the dogs and they even had a barrel of water for the, and gave them treats!
Recently went for family dinner for 6. Food was fresh, delicious and well presented. Service excellent and welcoming. Bonus for Timothy Taylor Landlord. Will go back
