I had a lovely evening with friends. We ate quality home made food. Locally and ethically sourced ingredients which was beautifully presented. The staff were polite amd efficient. Every table was booked but we still had fantastic service.. I will definitely go back.
Went in for Jamaican night last Friday and had a great time. Was greeted with a cocktail from the friendly, welcoming staff. Good entertainment with a couple of singers and a fantastic plate of food saw us through the night. Would recommend to anyone

Just had the best seasonal grouse ever. All meals were balanced and well presented. Staff were excellent and Matthew the chef explained the dishes and his individual take on the menu. Go there.
It's a really nice pub. The manager is great, really welcoming and professional. The other staff are also great. It's got a good location, parking is available a the cattle market carpark nearby (which is free in the evening).
Had a fantastic evening. They know how to cook a really good steak, the wine was great and the live music brilliant. Will definitely be going back!
Food is AMAZING here!! So healthy and fresh. By far the best in Wallingford, we come here when we can, can't believe the bad reviews ... these reviews can't be based on the food and the service as we've never had a bad meal here & service is really good.
