Had a brilliant night tonight while out with friends. Our server, Jay, was brilliant. Polite, friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. Really made the night a good one. Food was lovely too.
Went mid week Wednesday 31st , bar area quite full , plain menu ,some offers on food , not big portions sizes , service was good two ladies who served us very pleasant . However could not fail to notice cushions on couches need a clean all marked and the seats they need a good clean or recovering
Had a meet up with friends for a meal this evening. On the overall impressed with food. Staff were fabulous. All really pleasant and laughed along with us when ordering.
My steak had a large amount of fat and sinue in it (way more than my friends same meal) Jay the server was super apologetic and sorted out a free drink as apology and he was so pleasant to all of us. Super super lovely member of staff. Having worked in the pub industry I can say I wish all my staff had been as pleasant as Jay. Would have made my life so much easier!
We’ve only recently started to frequent the lighthouse. But, the food is always delicious and at a great price, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. I really recommend the small plates when there.

We visited the lighthouse pub for our family Christmas meal there was 11 of us in total and we was greeted when we arrived and shown to our reserved table. The table was set out ready for us all with Christmas crackers for everyone, the kids all loved them. Throughout the 3 courses all the staff didn’t stop but was always checking in to see if everything was ok and asking if we needed anything and I seen them doing this with all families within the pub. We always visit the lighthouse for food and as always the food was amazing, staff friendly and lovely atmosphere especially during such a special day where spending time with family is precious and all the staff who took time away from their families to make sure every family had the best time possible. So it goes without saying a big thank you to all the staff and management at the lighthouse pub! See you soon!!

Came here last week to meet up with work as it was the end of term, haven't been here for years and still really welcoming and the atmosphere is great.
Been going there since I was 10 years old. Place has not changed. I still go there

Very friendly staff. Not rushed at all.None of the usual irritations with car parking (having to pay, give car number, then claim back etc) -- machines out of action owing to Covid-19. No music--nice! Peaceful environment. Food standard pub grub, which is what we wanted.
Lovely atmosphere and staff. The pulled pork tacos were unexpectedly hot with lots of red chillis but was lovely when we took some off.
Waited over an hour for food but fish & chips ..lasagne ..burger fries 3 small dishes and grandaughter plain pasta as whst she eats with chips and garlic breadvwas all delicicious thankyou 👌
