We were on our way to New Brighton from Seacombe and I dropped in for lunch with my friends. This pub's main selling point is the stunning view of the Liverpool waterfront through the windows and watching the ships go by. They had a reasonable range of beers to suit most tastes. We ordered our food but had an hour's wait for the meals to turn up. I tried the Sticky Sesame Chicken and it was worth the wait as all the meals were very good. The staff very pleasant and helpful. Meals were good value for money.
Lovely food and surprising there were quite a good range of vegan options which I wasn't expecting. Views from upstairs seating area are amazing.
Staff friendly and good service, free parking and reasonably priced. Can't ask for more.
3 of us had the cod & chips & one the wings/fries & coleslaw. Wow! Absolutely Delicious - Great staff - Great service & Dog friendly which is a huge plus. Will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a lovely friendly pub. I hadn’t heard of this place before but I read a couple of reviews on the eating out Merseyside recommendations and thought we’d give it a try. It was for my daughter’s 13th birthday and it was booked for 12. From making the booking over the phone to leaving out the front door the experience has been just amazing. All the staff work so hard and always a smile, friendly and helpful. As it was a large booking pre orders were taken to ensure they had the items available from the menu to avoid any disappointment.
When the food came there was definitely no disappointment and there was just an issue with the hunters chicken being a little tough but this was rectified straight away and not made an issue of (thank you) and a different meal of choice was quickly provided. My daughter had the lasagna and she said it was even better than mine! And my dad has not stopped talking about the fish and chips … “the batter was lovely and it was packed with lots of lovely fish, I’ll definitely be back here”
As it was my daughter’s birthday I provided a cake which they kindly stored in the fridge and provided plates and brought it out when we where ready so I can’t comment on the desserts.
All in all we had the best night, amazing views, food and staff just made the night.
Thank you again for helping to make a daughter’s birthday an unforgettable one. We look forward to returning again soon.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Sunday dinner and kids food was amazing. The youngest is dairy free and was brilliant to see they had desserts suitable, in his words "bestest pudding in the world". Highly recommend this place.
Nice views of the Liverpool Water front, not the best fish and chips I have ever had but ok, would order off the full menu at £11 as the lunch menu option of £7.50 not upto much, next to no fish...
Lovely pub very clean with plenty of character, staff are great, only gripe was the food dishes came from the kitchen incredibly salty, and we weren't able to eat it but all in all its was quite enjoyable
From the outside, the pub has external seating area, on decking and on path side. Tables are clean and feature umbrellas for wind/rain. Today was reasonable weather and we were. Party of 3 + 1 baby with buggy. We stayed for a round of drinks and an evening meal. The service was very good, the staff were all very pleasant, Friendly and attentive. The food was very good. With the share platter being well above par in my opinion. We sat inside, and there was a high chair for our grandson. And the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. A good pick for a refreshing drink and food after walking the promenade. Will be back again.
Love coming the Ferry. Whether it’s a weekend after a long walk down the front, or to nip in for a midweek pint. Food is beautiful. Fish is always huge and golden crispy. Decent drink’s selection, excellent view over to the city, outside area is huge for the summer months and the staff genuinely can’t do enough.
Busy bank holiday Sunday.
Attended with partner, x 2 children and a dog.
Ordered food which was not bad.
Would happily come again.
What a little gem of a pub. As we walked through the door we were met with a very warm welcome from the staff. The seating is intimate and depending on where you sat you had lovely views over the mersey. The food was excellent and very good value for money. It gets very busy so that is a good indicator that the pub deserves its credit. We would like to give a special mention to Nicky. My husband left his wallet and glasses on the table and she found them when she cleared the table were we sat. She came looking for us but couldn't see us so they were behind the bar when we eventually returned. Thankyou. We will return when we are in the are again
Walked here from the Travelodge in New Brighton, stopped for a couple of drinks before making the return journey.
When you first walk in looks like a proper old fashioned pub, there are what look like newer additions to the side where people were eating.
The barmaid serving us was nice and polite.
There is more seating outside which is where we went and enjoyed the views of the Mersey.
The toilets are tiny, not even joking on that one. They seemed physically clean enough but still stank of wee.
We went in after a lovely walk where we had every season. The fog had rolled in and the kids were cold. Fabulous hot chocolate and a really friendly welcome. We only had bowls of chips to eat so can’t judge the food, but they were quick, hot and tasty. We will definitely go back.
A 20-minute walk from the Mersey ferry terminal, we found this lovely pub with proper homemade food over looking the water. There is plenty of seating available and very fast service! If you're visiting this area from the terminal, please consider walking along the front and popping in for a well-deserved drink!
Had veg spring rolls to start but they were too delicious and forgot to take a picture 😋 lasagne with garlic bread was also delicious, highly recommended.
Do book ahead, we were lucky to get a table as there were lots of groups with reservations.
We went (family of 12) on 28/02/24 for my Mum In Laws Birthday (rest in peace gbnf). Amazing food, quick friendly service. Young waiter and the waitress were all outstanding staff. Lovely place would recommend to anyone.
Great pub right by the beach with overnight parking available for campervans right in front. I ordered the Vegan Crispy Jackfruit burger with fries and asked if I could upgrade to the Salt and Pepper chips but was told I couldn't. I'd have to buy a separate portion. Surely it's not difficult to swap out the fries for salt and pepper and charge a bit extra. Just a suggestion.
Absolutely lovely meal and we were looked after very well by the lovely Shannon who Is 100% in the right job properly people person x
