Been here a few times and went yesterday for a drink with friends. The staff are friendly, service was good. Could benefit from a couple of fans when the weather is hot, although the menu made a good fan lol Would go back and recommend.
Family friendly, good local pub. Makes everyone feel welcome. Great food and when not too busy staff go out of their way to wait tables. Shout out to Steve and Drew who keep you fed and watered.
Lovely friendly place n children's play area ... manager / owner lovely person as well as all friendly staff .
Excellent food, so much to choose from the menu and excellent prices. very friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. We will be returning with family and friends. Lovely to see everyone working together.
Real good old pub with great food...great atmosphere....pool table...darts and a few good fruit machines...

Comfy chairs, good prices, quick service and food delivery, clean loos, parking and a play area! Only downside was the loud and rowdy side of the bar when we had a little one with us.
Myself and my daughter made a last minute decision and went in for lunch. We sat in the garden and ordered from the bar. The lady who served us was very nice and very helpful. We decided to order my husband a burger to go (we felt guilty we had left him at home fitting bathroom panels in 28° heat) i ordered at the bar and a man brought it out to us in a sealed bag with Enjoy and a smiley face drawn on it. When we got home my husband was very grateful for the food but even more grateful for the gift of a cold bottle of Sol. What a nice thing to do - thank you very much 😊 also the burgers were amazing!

Was with our two year old grandaughter who was very well behaved yet senior customers felt the need to tut, stare and comment on rights and wrongs of children being at a family pub enjoying a lunch with her mother and grandparents.
Hadnt been there for ages following incredibly poor service and food. But heard that it was now under new management so went back to see if things had improved. Have to say, it had, very good service, attentive staff, and for us "seniors " excellent value..
Only popped in for a couple of drinks with my son, staff were welcoming and polite, sat in large garden, pleasant afternoon.
On Monday the local community litter group once again met here for lunch. It was a large group booking of 26, the staff were very accommodating & the food was excellent.
They kindly gave us an area to the side of the bar so that we could all be together. Food was lovely, very reasonably priced, good service, perfect location and everyone had a lovely time.

Went to the 0ak waterslade we had a lovely time there was 20 f us it was for my daughter graduation we all sat outside wonderful food good staff if you need a good evening visit the Oak you will not be disappointed then you for a wonderful night xxxxx

For a Sunday night, it was reasonably busy. We arrived at the same time as a few other parties. Professional and friendly staff were really attentive and all parties were served quite quickly. The food came out in good time, hot and tasty. Very well priced and good atmosphere.
Portions are a bit small but for the price it's very reasonable. Nice staff, very attentive. Good range of beers.
