The Elephant and Castle is a pub I used to frequent a lot of years ago when when having a night out in wakefield , cant be missed with it's Enamel brick Victorian look . The bar staff were polite and all the usual beers and a couple of craft beers were on tap . Nice cosy little pub with a pool table aswell
Absolutely appalling service.... walked out without being served... very poor bar staff.
Never Again... Went back to Harry's Bar which is fantastic.
Good pub good beer clean and tidy bit quiet but as the staff said it usually is on Sundays
Now looks a lot better than a few years ago.
Back to being more traditional than than the horrible light wood & chrome.
Back to being a proper pub with real beer and no chrome or 'trendy cheap. Excellent beer .
Getting quite lively now they have live music. Good selection of beers.
Pleasent atmosphere and an older crowd mixing with people who have gone to the first place they see when they get off the train.
Lovely pub clean staff plesent dj plays a great set of records dj baldy loved it
