Large pub which was oddly quiet on a Friday night. Good range of beers. Decent welcome. Sport shown on large TVs. Furnishings and decor need some updating but pleasant nonetheless.

Had an amazing time in their side function room; the decor was amazing, old pub style with beer barrels and jazz paraphernalia. Was really cool. The pub side was super friendly with plenty of locals and nice cheap drinks that were actually good. Amazed they had Black Sheep Square on tap. Super great
My first visit was to the pub was in 1982. At the time of writing the pub is up for sale, hopefully the new owners will maintain the great atmosphere and service will carry on as before.
