Great atmosphere! Even better drinks menu!! Bring on the bank holiday!
This place is amazing for a sunny day. We wanted a pub lunch, and that's what we got.
Didn't look like much from the outside but go around the back, and there's plenty of places to sit. The place is clean, the staff are friendly.
We ordered sharing nachos to start with, followed by chicken and bacon burger and hunters chicken (see photo's attached). Portion sizes and the quality of food were great. Food came out pretty quickly, and the service was great as it was busy as well.
The dessert was a ok, only thing that let it down was the fudge cake itself was a little over done and dry on the edges but there was plenty of cream and chocolate sauce to sort that out.
Overall, this was a pleasant surprise how nice it was, and I'll definitely be visiting again.

Lovely, tasty relaxed meal, with a good pint. Simple menu with decent choices. Friendly staff too, always a plus point.
Visited last night. 3 of us had steak all of which were cooked perfectly. One rare one medium one well done. It's a shame there is no longer table service to order food. But with only 3 tables indoors occupied on a Saturday night maybe staff has been reduced. But food was delicious so can't give less than 5 stars. Desserts also scrumpy even though the millionaire puddle didn't have a puddle. Really like the interior design of the pub. With it being so quiet I really hope this place will keep going. We will definitely return.
Came back the very next day for a meal. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful

It was okay. I have had 2 lunches there with group of 20 friends from our choir. The first visit was nice but some of my friends had problems with the dishes they ordered on both occasions. On the first visit the staff were really nice and we had 4 members of staff looking after us, the second time there were 2. I don't think we will be eating there next time we have meal
Really nice pub. Outdoor seating has different types of style from traditional pub benches to a central covered area, benches with cushions etc. Range of drinks is large and varied. Menu is small but food is good. Staff are really friendly. All round, a nice place for a drink and something to eat.
Outstanding! Family meal for 4 on a Saturday midday. Excellenly cooked half duck in red wine sauce, kids menu, steak and burger with sweet potato chips. Brilliant choice of beers. All for £50.
Great varied menu, food always fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere for all ages. Just devoured the most delicious burger and fries combo with a side of onion rings which were to die for!
Have just been for lunch. The pub was very busy and as such we were told there was a 40 minute wait for food. There were only 2 members of staff working and they could not be more helpful or friendly. The food was lovely and although the staff were busy, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return.

Made space available for us in our own area.

Well what Can I say , we were there 27th September a party of 13 and each and everyone of us all said we enjoyed it , the food was spot on , service excellent, we’ve been many times when there are only 2 people right up to large group the food and service has always been fab , so thank you to all the staff and of course the chef for cooking the food to our request .

Nice friendly pub, quaint and welcoming. Quite expensive for drinks was going to have a meal but menu not inviting same as other places which is boring. Would go back for a drink and maybe a meal if they changed the menu.
We took our club out for lunchtime they all had different things, and they were all served with good staff and care. Well done for taking care of us, and we will be back again.
The service was amazing and my meal roast Turkey dinner was perfect 👌 all the family loved it. Second time we have been now and it's been amazing everything was cooked perfect and we didn't feel rushed at all 👍🏻fantastic
Loved meal walked in got served quickly meal came promptly. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful nice variety of drinks an reasonable priced too
