A lovely little fish and chip restaurant in Wakefield, very friendly staff and the food was top quality.
I had the regular cod and chips that was massive! With curry sauce, a large scuffler and a cup of tea.
Will definitely be back on my next trip to Wakefield.
Given this 4 stars chiefly for value. Harry’s offers a very limited menu and “no frills” food but at £4.75 for fish and chips, pot of tea and bread and butter you can’t go wrong.
Great for a hearty, quick and cheap lunch.
The food is good but having to preorder your fish and chips for it is a bit of a pain. If your pooping out for a quick bite I wouldn't recommend it but if you have time to wait then this has the best fish and chips. The prices are a bit steep but as the old axsium states you get what you pay for.
I have to say the fish and chips was the best I have ever had or the best that I can remember. The fish so tender and how one would want it. The chips also likewise and I will be coming again. Well done to Harry's and the staff.

The fish and chip meal is very good value in pleasant surroundings and staff.
It's a few months since I visited Harry's was my favourite fish restaurant beats Whitby's fish restaurants hands down hope it's still the same
I have eaten quite a few times at Harrys. Very friendly staff and the "special" meal with tea, bread and butter has always been top notch.
Just had a fish and it was perfect, really fresh tasting, and nice crisp batter 👍👍
normally go to the takeaway side as I don't have a great deal of time on my lunch but tryed the restaurant today foods great service is very friendly all round wonderful restaurant/takeaway
