Friendly bar staff, good beer, Very quiet when we called, but is usually busy we were told. close to Wakefield bus station.

Popped in for a drink before my wedding, very welcoming atmosphere.

I always enjoy it in here. If you like a pub where it is anything goes karaoke then this pub is for you. Very much a spit and sawdust environment but that is part of the charm. A place where you can really people watch is there is every kind of person in there. So always amusing and karaoke 7 ni

Okay, so it's not everyone's cup of tea, or pot of beer, but there is something about this place. Yes it has had a reputation in the past, but now it's friendly and keeps a decent pint. Love the karaoke too, the regulars seem genuinely appreciative, even though I can't sing!

This is a popular old style back to bare bones pub. It's friendly unpretentious and has popular karioke nights beer is well kept atmosphere is very colourful x 😂

This pub is now the best in Wakefield, the landlady is lovely and friendly and always makes you feel welcome and if you're a regular there your drink will be on the bar by the time you get to it

You want a laugh, go to the Talbot. Especially for the early drinkers (even Justine has a screw loose lol). Top ale aswell as cheap. Thumbs up from me 👍🏻
