Great meal very reasonable but made all the better by the attentive barman couldn't do enough for us and even rushed out to the car to bring me my purse which I had left in the booth thanks to him will definitely go again x

we went on a celebration night out, dining room filed with a party eating sandwiches.
Stood at the bar waiting ages, male and female staff stood chatting, I had to ask a regular sat on a bar stool to attract their attention, it took the lad four attempts to pull me a pint of tetles, it still had an inch of foam, sorry , said the lad, it's a bit lively tonight. It's rubbish.I answered , come on I said to my companions, were leaving. Pity, it used to be a goodnight out there.
Still, the pub was busy, must be doing something right.
Cracking night last night. Good music good crowd n staff were on top form. Shame ya so far away would like to frequaint more often.

Great boozer, good food and drink. Don't know who the last person is, obviously not a regular as all staff are polite and well mannered. Quiz masters a good bloke too ;)

I came there at lunch time on Friday. The lunch set menu three course only £7.99. Food is great. And the service is very considerate. Many people there but not noisy. The toilet is really clean. I really enjoy my lunch.

New management in our local. Still getting sorted, but had time to speak with customers and was very pleasant and attentive. Plenty of parking, disabled access good, dog friendly.
Just popped in for a cheeky pint, bit quiet tho it was a Wednesday dinner time. Served straight away, lovely pint 👍

Great local pub that we have used for last 10 years. We don't go in as often as some but always a warm welcome from Baggers and his staff.
Petes quiz nights on Sundays are very good. Always lots of live sport and someone to chat with
Brilliant pub! Land lord is ex army captain and did out country proud for 21 years. Him and his partner r great. Christmas dinner was amazing and they did it with a chef off with covid! Really make everyone feel welcome! Would highly recommend this pub! If any pub deserves service it is here!!!
Fantastic pub with great atmosphere
I have to say myself and my family have just had a lovely meal. The steak was cooked to absoloute perfection! I would highly recommend a visit her. The staff are lovely and the chef... just amazing!
MY partner and I visited and ate here twice in the last two days which says a lot. The menu is typical pub grub not pretentious but we'll cooked and good value. The management and staff were pleasant and welcoming. Found it difficult to fault.
Staying in a hotel close by, so went for a meal for the 2 day we stayed. Lovely premises cozy and snug, food really enjoyable and served hot! Beer was good too. Recommend for a visit...
Good beer choice and exceptional service. Real shame that in the 21st century female staff have to listen to gutter language from the few. Without exceptional service I would have left
Food was of a good standard . The staff were friendly service was efficient they did 2 service checks to make sure everything was ok we'll be back Sunday lunch was great
